SENTINEL FILE: FALCO
Johann Hans Hölzel was a vigilante prior to joining the Academy.
The first report of Falco was provided by two criminals in the German territory. They had allegedly stolen a couple’s belongings at gunpoint and escaped on foot. A tall, beak-nosed man wearing an overcoat and a fedora confronted them in an alley. He stopped them with spread arms and said, “You won’t get away with those people’s things.”
The men attempted to attack him with their Class 2 abilities. That is the last thing they remember apart from waking up in a police station. No robbery was reported. The couple was tracked down years later and said they had been given their things back by a man in an overcoat and a tuxedo humming the old German pop song, Der Kommissar.
The super began cropping up in police and news reports shortly after this first sighting. In each event, Falco was described to be a serious man, intent on his objective. He would primarily assist in situations involving innocent bystanders; however, he did rack up quite the list of Named Villain takedowns before being recruited to the Sentinels.

Falco’s mutations are unique in that no recorded human has ever possessed reflexes as fast as his without at least Class 4 strength and endurance. He has Class 3 strength and toughness, but Class 5 speed. His velocity makes him almost invisible to even the trained eye, and his skill with blades make him a serious threat on the battlefield.
Whenever in costume, Falco carries at least fifteen knives on him at all times, as well as his custom-made twin machetes. He has also shown, over time, aptitude for civilians evac, often going out of his way or incurring injury to himself to save someone’s life.
His codename is self-chosen. He introduced himself as Falco the first time he was asked his name on camera. We believe the name comes from a historic musician, a german pop singer of the same name from centuries ago. Alongside this penchant for german pop, Falco is also quite the troublemaker and had more than a few issues within the Sentinel training program.
Due to his time spent as a vigilante, Falco has more real experience than anyone else in his Academy class. Sadly, his impatience can easily get the best of him.
