Prologue

A woman stood in a room, staring at the door across from her with great expectation, waiting for something to happen. Her skin was fairly pale, but her beauty was unmatched. She let out a sigh and flopped down on her bed. She was bored what else could be said…

And that’s when she heard it, screams of pain and anguish from the other side of the door. She heard the splattering of blood. Men, women, and children all alike begging for their lives only to meet a gruesome end. It was as if some monster had appeared ruthlessly picking off anything that moved.

The woman stood up on the bed and continued to stare at the door while sitting, but this time there was a smile on her face. As screaming continued, there was now frantic banging on the door, the person on the other side sounded like a panicked man breathing heavily in complete distraught. The man banged on the door, turned the doorknob violently, begging to be let in but the woman did not move. The man continued to beg and cry.

Then she heard footsteps approach the door and the man’s begging and pleading turned to screams of terror. That scream was only thing that could be heard until a red blade pierced through the door, and the man’s cries were replaced with a gurgle and the spattering of blood. The blade retracted and for a moment time stood still…

Then the door was sliced open and there stood a single man covered in blood, it was as if he bathed in a pool of it and behind him was a room painted in red with countless bodies cut in half with their guts spewing out, wearing faces of terror expressing the fear they tasted in their final moments. But despite this gruesome sight the woman continued to smile. Then the man started walking toward her tracking blood in the room with each step he took you could hear a squishing noise. The man wore a cold expression on his face as he approached. The woman’s smile widened and then she finally spoke

“Welcome hero of humanity”.
