Her footsteps were frantic and uncoordinated, her hands scraping against the walls as she pushed forward, desperately clutching at the air for anything that could help her escape.
They had called her crazy, a psycho, someone who needed help. But they were wrong, so so horribly wrong. How could they not see it!! How come she was the only one?!
Her heart raced, pounding in her ears, louder and louder, like the heavy footfalls of something hunting her. The hallway seemed to stretch endlessly, the dim lights above flickering and casting monstrous shadows that swayed and writhed around as if alive, they looked at her, staring at her, mocked her as she ran desperately for her life.

BOOOM!
No, it's getting closer!!
She looked around, quickly taking sight of the stairs.
Freedom!!
Opening the door, she rushed for the stairs, her heart pounding in her chest, but in her haste, she lost her footing. Her foot slipped on the worn edge of the top step, and she tumbled forward, arms flailing in an attempt to regain balance. The world spun wildly around her as she crashed down the staircase, her body bouncing off each step with a sickening thud.
Crack!!
The air left her nostrils as her back slammed against the wall at the bottom.
For a moment, all she could hear was the ringing in her ears. Pain surged through her limbs, and she gasped for breath, but it was as if her lungs couldn't catch up. Her vision blurred, and her head spun. The floor beneath her seemed to tilt as she tried to move, but her body felt too heavy to make even the slightest movement. Her fingers twitched, but she couldn’t summon the strength to lift herself.
Her body felt cold, so unnaturally cold, as her sight began to dim, the edges of the world fading into darkness as she died.
Finally…
End....
