Chapter 2
“Come out little ghost… I can see you hiding in that tree, and don’t you worry, I already have a delicious meal…” The demon smiles at me, still crouched next to the guy’s body. I stare at the demon in horror, blood drips out of his mouth when he smiles. I slowly back out of the tree and try to run, but before I can go a few feet, the demon is suddenly in front of me grabbing my arm.
“Oh, little ghost don’t run, I don’t want to hurt you… I just want to know how you came across my food…” The demon looks at me smiling, and honestly, he is ugly. Now demons don’t rot like the undead, but that doesn’t mean they're not ugly, and he smells disgusting.
“What the hell do you mean?! He collapsed in front of me, and I don’t eat humans!” I try to wiggle my way free from his grasp, but him being a demon and me being a ghost, and a weak one at that, so it didn’t work very well.
“Little ghost…” The demon smiles even wider,” Then you won’t mind if I eat, do you? Of course I will need you to depose of him, so stay will you?” The tone the demon used left no room for argument, so I nod, scared for my own life. The demon lets go and makes his way back to the human, and starts to feast on his blood again. It’s absolutely repulsive to watch, I can see the blood being drained from the human, and the demon is slurping the blood. It’s times like this I wish I could throw up, but, as a ghost I can’t. Suddenly the demon stops again and looks at the human contemplatively.

“Say… Little ghost, I think I’ll leave him here, after all his blood carries much violence and vengeance. He would make a wonderful demon I would say.” Demons are made by dying with a small amount of vengeful blood in their bodies, leaving them resentful and violent from whatever tragedy caused them to die, the more vengeance a demon has, the more powerful demon you are of whatever class they would be. I stare at the demon then finally I am able to move away and run, this time the demon just watches me run with a weird ass smile.
I ran all the way to my hut, not stopping for anything. Once I make it to my hut, I slow down, thinking. If I went back to help the demon, I could most likely die, but if I just left him he could, like, kill tons of people. I could also maybe survive by him being grateful or something like that, and honestly the only reason that got me sneaking back to the guy was the fact that maybe, just maybe, he could make for good company. As I crept back to him I noticed, with relief, that the demon that turned him was gone. I walk over to the man now lying bloody on the ground and bend over him, poking him with a stick I found nearby.
He doesn’t move so I decided I would try and move him to my hut, but as I try to do so I realize he is heavy. Unfortunate for him, because I now have to drag him, but even dragging him takes a lot of effort. I’m pretty sure his head hit a couple rocks and bumps, but he’s dead already so it doesn’t matter, I think. Anyways I finally make it to my little hut, and I come across another problem, where the hell do I put him? I don’t think he’d be very happy if he was stuffed in a corner when he woke up and I don’t have a bed, for obvious reasons. So I lay him nicely in the corner instead. I wondered for a second if he needed, like, actual food. As I was contemplating this I suddenly heard a deep gasp, and as I turned around I saw the man in the corner sit up with his eyes wide open.
