"Oh bloody hell, where am I now?"
An odd man stood still in a rather luxurious apartment it appeared, around him was gilded frames with paintings he had never heard of, a fire-place which looked to had never been used at all, silk sewn onto every spot he could sit in, a rather tall lady who had dyed her hair white, and far too much scented candles!
"Oh, so you're finally here! Lynda popped out just now to get your documents, but I'm sure I know you well enough to the point that we don't need them!" The woman gestured towards one of her many chairs in the room, the man was rather confused but sat down anyway, he was awfully tired. "So, your name was Charlie, wasn't it?"
"It's Henry actually, so if you don't mind me asking... what's going on?" Henry presented himself to be quite calm and composed despite how irregular of a situation he was in.
"Oh the memo didn't reach! I always say that classical magic is the way to go... but you know... machines are the new trend." The woman chuckled, she however raised her hands as if she was surprised. "I didn't mean to drop the magic thing on you, it might be sort of hard to believe since it has basically become some sort of myth after all this time."
"Oh, it's perfectly alright, by the way do you have some tea?" Henry politely asked, the woman nodded and gestured in front of her; a teapot and two cups appeared along with a table! Henry poured both of them a cup while the woman seemed to be subtly shocked.
"Well... I see why you're the perfect candidate, Henry, I've told that to so much people and they've reacted very vividly." The woman smiled, picking up her cup. "I forgot to introduce myself, silly me! I'm the Goddess Amour. So, Henry, shall we get down to business?"
"Business? What business?" Henry took a sip of his tea, it was a tad cold and tasted horrible.
"I forgot that you didn't get the memo! It's about my child." Amour specified Henry literally spit out his tea, ruining a majority of the furniture. "That's what you react oddly about?"
"You want me to have a child with you?" Henry blurted out, Amour froze for a few seconds, only for her to become flustered afterward.
"W-WHERE DID YOU GET THAT IDEA? I'M TALKING ABOUT RAISING MY CHILD WHICH WAS BORN WITH THE MORTALS IN ANOTHER WORLD!" Amour screamed, Henry's hearing was nearly overloaded.
"Okay, for starters don't make it seem like it's not possible, since you have a child in another world you clearly got busy with a mister pretty." Henry coughed. "Also, what kind of idea was I supposed to get when you say; perfect candidate.I thought I was apart of some sort of Goddess sperm bank without knowing it!"
"To begin with: I didn't get busy with no mister pretty." Amour straightened her posture and cleared her throat. "Secondly... I don't have a second point since you didn't get the memo."
"Do we need to have the talk?" Henry gave her a condescending expression.
"What talk?"
"When two adults love each other very much-"
"I know about the birds and bees for crying out loud! I'm the Goddess of love! My daughter's soul was born inside a mortal child and I need you to find her and raise her. You were determined the perfect candidate for it." Amour clarified, Henry shook his head in response.
"You want me to look after your child? Me? I don't think children should be left near me to begin with!" Henry outright exclaimed, Amour chuckled at his stubbornness.
"Oh come on, no need to be so modest. You're an undercover police officer who has great physical skill and wit, not to mention you're a good guy. You're perfect for raising my child! You also have the highest potential magical ability, your soul strength is pretty good as well!" Amour declared.
"No, no and no! I don't know about the magic and soul baloney, but I know that I'm not an undercover police officer and I definitely am not perfect for any child at all!" Henry retorted. "I'm a choreographer, I don't know how or why but I somehow always end up in situations which should kill me but I somehow I survive! If you're curious about why I really didn't react to the knowledge of magic it's because I was just being chased by some kingpin's goons for some ungodly reason and that is the SEVENTY FOURTH time it has happened this MONTH! So tell me; how does a child fit into all of that?"
"I get it, I get it... you're a choreographer, right? And you just hate getting involved with kingpins." Amour stated, she gestured quotations for specific words. "Don't worry, I won't tell."
"What's with the quotations? Do you think that my life is some sort of secret identity? Do you think I want to get involved with dangerous people all the time? I don't know how, but I just end up right in the middle of the entire mess!" Henry attempted his best to reason with Amour, but it was clear that she clearly didn't understand anything he was trying to communicate.
"I see, you don't want to get involved. Well fret not, the world I'm sending you to is full of danger and you are perfectly equipped for it." Amour gave him a thumbs up, she assumed he was joking around with everything.
"Seriously...? That was completely the opposite of what I said!" Henry yelled, Amour only giggled at him.
"You can't miss my daughter, she should be only one with white hair like mine!" Amour explained.
Henry could finally see what was really happening, like all of the criminals he had so unfortunately faced by accident and all the horrid experiences he had been through; this was one of them. It didn't matter if he didn't want to be apart of it, he would be forced to. Whether he accepts it or not, Amour was going to send to him to another world to raise her daughter, it's not like he could beat someone with magical powers in any way.
"Wait... since I'm going to another world, can I get some sort of special help?" Henry questioned, Amour nodded with a smile.
"Of course! I wouldn't be so cruel! You'll find out when you land in it!" With a wave of her hand, Henry was surrounded with a bright incandescence, disappearing only moments afterward.

"I'm back, Milady!" A young woman stepped into the room, in her hands was a folder containing a few documents.
"Oh, Lynda! There's no need to worry, I've already met the candidate, I sent him on his way." Amour smirked, Lynda sat down on the spot where Henry was, she handed the folder over to Amour and poured herself a cup of tea.
"So, how was Charlie?" Lynda questioned, Amour dropped the folder and looked up to Lynda.
"I didn't meet Charlie." Amour only realized now what had occurred, she had not only sent a random person to another world but she also entrusted him to look after her daughter! "I'll bring him back, don't worry!"
Amour faced an empty space within her room, waving her hand yet again to bring him back to the room! Only... it didn't work.
"Impossible... that should have worked, it should have brought him back! I have sent a random guy who thinks I slept with a mortal!" Amour cried, Lynda was too much in shock to even comment. "Something's blocking my magic! What could possibly fight against a God's magic?"
"Well... if you're being honest; another God." A patronizing expression crossed Amour's face when Lynda suggested such a thing. "He couldn't have been that bad, could he?"
"If he's another God then it would be in the evaluations of him! Quick, Lynda go and find the folder about a Henry who has well-combed hair and is choreographer with a knack for attracting bad crowds." Lynda showed confusion, only to pull out a folder from the back of Charlie's folder.
"Henry Torat?" Lynda asked, Amour jumped to her side and examined the folder with her as well.
"That's him... how did you know I was going to ask?" Amour queried, Lynda shrugged while examining his folder.
"It was in Charlie's folder for some weird reason, the Hs were too far away so I just came back once I got Charlie's." Lynda closed the folder and threw it behind her. "He is the most under-qualified person for this job."
"C-Come on... I put this guy in charge of raising my daughter, there's no way he can be that bad..." Amour nervously laughed.
"His potential magic ability is zero,he has none. His physical capabilities? The only thing he's good at is running away. His intelligence I can't even make sense of, he's too weird to comprehend. His soul strength... I can't find out, that's lost somewhere. He has no soul. You left your daughter in charge of a cowardly, talentless, insane and soulless person." Lynda had to explain it clearly to her that Henry was not just a bad choice, he was the worst thing possible. "And you said he had a knack for attracting bad crowds, so that's not helping either."
"Okay, so there's nothing redeeming about his character, but there's still the fact that he someone entered this room despite there being a barrier which allows only specific people in and he is definitely not one of them and I can't return him here!" Amour tried to remain optimistic, there had to be some sliver of hope she could cling onto.
"That's irrelevant, he is still an idiot who you put in charge of your daughter." Lynda pointed out, Amour fell to her knees, her head on a chair's armrest.
"What have I done?"
