I just wanted to reach out and share some exciting news about our journey through “A Duke Out of Time.” First of all, I want to thank each of you for sticking with me for more than 600 pages. Your support, your messages, your comments, and your reviews have been invaluable. It has been a joy to watch our community grow and to see so many of you become invested in James's adventures. It means more to me than you could ever know.

Many of you have expressed a desire for certain details to flow more smoothly in the early chapters. Some of you have pointed out where elements of the system might be improved or woven more tightly into James’s story, and some don't like the way that character progression is being handled. While a large part of you do enjoy the novel as it is, I believe that our shared passion for quality storytelling and cohesive world-building is vital. After listening carefully to all of your feedback, I have decided to pause the release of new chapters and turn my full attention to revisiting the chapters I’ve already written.

The main goal is to smooth out the existing plotlines, strengthen the foundation of the story, and implement a revamped system. Changing the pacing in the start and adding an exciting layer to every conflict, every triumph, and every challenge. Though it is a significant change, you’ll still find that the heart of the story remains intact. James will continue to face the trials that make him who he is, and the spirit of his journey will carry on, just in a more refined form.

I understand that some readers might be concerned or even disappointed by this pause in new content. Please know that I am making these revisions not to take away from the story, but to ensure that it becomes the best version of itself. My ultimate goal is to provide you with a world that resonates, with characters who are memorable, and with a story that feels consistently engaging from start to finish.

I am truly grateful for every reader who has come this far on the road with me. Your patience and encouragement fuel my excitement to craft an even more immersive journey for you to explore. I hope you’ll continue to stand with me as I rework the early chapters and implement the changes you’ve been asking for.
