A plane parallel to the world exists. But unlike the world, it's uninhabitable. It's a place where none would want to live in. But in that place where no life could survive were two entities.

One was a dragonoid or a half-dragon; the other was a demon. They fought in that plane for a long time, and now their fight is about to end. No, their fight has already ended; it's the demon's loss.

It was an obvious outcome. Everyone knows that a dragon, even a half-blood, can win against a demon. But the one he was fighting was no ordinary demon. The one the dragonoid was beating to death was the demon god, an entity that could kill a hundred dragons with ease.

The entity which should be at the top of the food chain begged for his life. "Ple-"

But the dragonoid ignored his words and continued smashing his face.

Every time the dragonoid's large fist hit him, his face would explode. Normally he could just regenerate his face, but after getting beat up millions of times, his regeneration was starting to slow down. If it continues, he'll surely die.

Every time his face healed, every time his mouth returned, he would beg for his life. But his words did nothing but fuel the dragonoid's rage.

Why was the dragonoid angry? Simple, the demon god caused his sister's death. The demon god tried to control him by using his sister, but his sister ended up killing herself to free him.

He was enraged by this and came to kill the demon god. Now the demon god is paying the price for trying to control what couldn't be controlled.

All the demon god could do was regret his decision as he begged. He tried, and tried, and tried, until he gave up.

As he grew tired, his perception of time got slower, prolonging his suffering. It took one year for him to die, but to him, it felt like millions of years.

Not a day passed without him feeling fear towards the one that continuously hit his face. Even if he was spared, he'd no longer be the same as before.

After completely destroying the demon god's face, he started crushing the body. When nothing but blood was left, he roared while shedding tears. He did it, he got revenge for his younger sister.

Now that he accomplished his goal, the stress from fighting for a whole year finally took its toll.

But before he lost his consciousness, he answered the thought that entered his mind the moment the demon god died.

If he evolves, his sister will also evolve. If she's still waiting at the gate, then it'll be dangerous for her.
