The days were starting to get cold,the roads, still covered in leaves, gave away the feeling as if ,one was walking in the forests..after the government,partially made up of the sect,forbidded walking in the streets after 21:00 in the night there were hardly any people other than the sect members, guised as night guards ,in the abandoned street,it enhanced the eerie atmosphere of the road.It was 21:45,at this time even disregarding the issues of govt. it was an unhealthy time for anyone to be out, but a student still in his school uniform was walking on the road, towards a bridge which ,crossing over the only river in the island, connected the two districts of the island.He was still in his summer uniform, even by common school standards it was high time to change into winter clothes and including the sadistic nature of the night"s wind anyone will atleast spout some curses or atleast try to warm themselves by rubbing their hands when walking out there,lightly dressed like him too, but he seemed fine, his pace was natural. As if, 'the space around him was somehow warm', was the feeling one would get watching him walking nonchalantly in the freezing night like that, or else, he was insensitive towards his surroundings.Still ,it was at a time forbidded by the govt. for it’s people to be out on the streets and even without that it was still not a time for a young man like him to be out so ,as a matter of fact,he was stopped on his path by a night guard.”Young man it’s not safe out here,at your age you must know the rules of the govt.,right? So,what are you doing out here at this time of the night ?”,the guard asked gently but with a firm voice,but,alas! he didn’t get any kind of response still, resolving himself ..he continued ,“Can you tell me your name and address?”

Taking a look at the emblem on the youth’s shirt he was astonished, the emblem had a golden phoenix over the yin-yang symbol.It was the emblem of, Young Phoneix Public School,the school supported by the govt.for nurturing potential exorcist candidates in the district.Ofcourse the students studying there were quite exceptional but still it was not as if they were true exorcists so even for them the above rule still applied, actually,it was more like the institution being a boarding school ,there were more restrictions for it's students.
“Hey,show me your student ID”,the guard was a bit flustered,he placed a barrier around the boy and signalled the school guards ,with his terminal ,of potential school-break without permission.The security around the school was strict,that too, on a military level ,so.something like breakthrough was only possible if you become invisible,ofcourse that cannot be the case here,the guard thought that there was no other way and since,he was somehow really sure that the school couldn’t have provided permission and the winter breaks were still a month away, a thought natural to a exorcist crossed his mind,’is he an Imp’,he thought but before he could signal his other colleagues for help the barrier he had built just a second before ...broke,the guard turned pale,though he didn’t flinch from his position and reflexively took out his charms,he was still,a bit,nervous but still,he didn’t attack .One of the reason was that that he was still not sure about his own theories so,ofcourse he couldn’t attack a high school student who still hadn’t done anything suspicious,well breaking the rules made by govt. was already a infringement to the law but since the guard himself was quite close to the young man’s age he didn’t underestimated the power of a teen’s rebellious phase,while the second reason was 'his pride' as an exorcist.The barrier he had built was definitely not something that could be broken so easily by an Imp, no matter how powerful the Imp maybe, and the way it broke was also unnatural,so he concluded that it was probably a human with high SP(spiritual potential)which was not uncommon for a student of that school but still he just couldn’t let this matter slide that easily ,he again asked the boy this time a bit more strictly,”What are you doing outside at atime like this,answer my question or I will have to take you into custody.”

The guard was at his limits ,no matter what ,to disregard someones concerns for you and knowing full well the world they lived in ,was a quality irrefusiable for someone wanting to become an exorcist.The guard threw a talisman towards the boy and just as he was able to say the chants the boy reacted.The boy took his ID out of his school diary/guide from his breast pocket and showed it to the guard,the guard cautiously closed the two meter gap and from a full hand distance from the boy, bent and looked at the ID but after he took a single glance at it, he knelt down on the road and lowered his head,”I am sorry sir,to have obstructed in you path,please forgive my rudeness”,the guard apologize,his attitude took a 360 degree turn..the was not subtle at all and taking their age difference into consideration..it was slightly on the belittling-oneself side.
“……Please stand up,you are not at fault,it’s just that I was concentrating on the nearby Imp and didn’t perceive your presence,I apologise for my behavior too",at last the boy spoke while bowing his head slightly.He was Summer Winslet,the student council president of YP Public school,a genius born once in a century,he was a national level sprinter,karate trained judoist(specializing in pinning techniques.
