Time slowed down to a halt as all three soldiers couldn’t believe their eyes that a lowly farmer would dare attack the country’s soldiers in broad daylight! Despite all of the soldiers’ training, none of them could possibly react to the attack by the reformed farmer. John’s flail sank into the skull of the armored man, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes with a fatal dent in his head. The other two soldiers immediately went for their weapons.
John swung his flail into the waist of the soldier who tried to recruit him. He collapsed to his knees with a cry of agony as the other soldier managed to take out his sword. The look on his face was a mixture of fear and confusion as he readied himself to take on the abnormal farmer. John slowly swung the swipple of his flail round and round as he neared the soldier.
“You’re going to be branded as a criminal! Even your family won’t be spared once people know you’ve attacked the country’s soldiers!” He shouted.
John struck with his flail. It smashed against the blade of the soldier as he attempted to block the attack. The metal bent inward and deformed the sword. In no time, John repeatedly attacked with his flail until the soldier dropped just like his allies. Then he walked into the estate with his weapon.

“They’ve done a fine job with you. You look even more stunning than you did when I first laid my eyes on you.” Ryze complimented the mute woman dressed in proper noble clothing. “I can’t wait to tear it off of you myself.” He licked his lips.
Lydia shivered not in fear or terror but in anger. Anger and rage at the world for how it has treated her thus far. The pure injustice of it all made her wonder why she has lived this long for? That brief period of pure bliss with her husband of two weeks feels like it was just a dream.
“I can see your cute little eyes darting around. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that’s going to stop me from devouring you...” Ryze laughed as he walked toward Lydia.
Lydia moved backward in an attempt to keep some distance from the kidnapper, but she knew that the two soldiers outside the door would prevent her from escaping even if she opened the door and ran. Realizing there was nothing left she could do, Lydia backed up against the wall. Ryze softly cupped her chin with his hands and looked at her as if he were inspecting premium goods. Then his lips came closer to her own as he closed his eyes.
Before his lips could make contact with the married woman’s, an indescribable pain assaulted him. A shrill, unfamiliar scream escaped his lips from being kneed in the testicles, and Lydia took advantage of this opportunity. She grabbed the blanket from the bed and tossed it over the incapacitated lord’s head, muffling his mouth. Lydia then attacked him with her fists and feet until Ryze could gather enough strength to resist. As a frail housewife, she stood no chance against Lord Ryze once he wasn’t suffering from testicular pain.

The two guards smirked as they heard the woman’s screams and subsequently muffled pounding sounds. It looks like Lord Ryze wasn’t taking it easy on the poor girl. She looked pretty young as well. Youth was truly amazing.
“I can’t wait to head to the brothel after our next pay.”
“You got that right. I don’t really care for listening when I could be doing it myself.” He chuckled.
“I hope the Lord is a quick shot. I don’t wanna be hearing this all night.”
“We can only hope.” He laughed.
The two were unaware of the fact that the woman they escorted into the room was mute and incapable of making sounds with her voice. However, they were aware of the strange sounds coming from down the hall. They looked at each other before deciding to investigate together with their weapons drawn. As they were about to make their way around the corner, one of the two guards was suddenly assaulted across the face. His face caved in as he was sent flying back down the way he came.

“Have you seen a small oval-faced woman around here? Light-brown hair, styled in a long ponytail that extends past her waist, and cannot speak?” The man asked.
“Die!” Fear fueled the soldier’s actions as he slashed his sword toward the intruder.
“What a pity...” John blocked with the handle of his flail and pushed off the soldier’s sword, sending him backward.
John’s swipple smacked across the soldier’s waist while he was unable to regain his footing from being pushed so roughly. He dropped like a puppet with its strings cut with a pained cry. The farmer, covered in blood and sword wounds, made his way down the hall, busting down the door of any room along the way. If his wife was in trouble, she couldn’t scream or call out for help. He had to check any and every room in this estate. And he wouldn’t stop until he was dead or he saved his wife.
Lydia didn’t give up even when the skinny lord had her pressed down and her arms forced above her head. She buckled, struggled, and resisted for as long as she could. Clawing at the noble, using her forehead to bash into his face whenever he tried to kiss her, and using her legs to inconvenience him at every opportunity. It didn’t take long for Lord Ryze to get fed up with her. Lydia was punched across the face, which stunned her to the point where she lost herself momentarily.
“You made me do this, peasant bitch. This could’ve gone a lot better if you cooperated. I could’ve even made it feel good for you, too, instead of just me. But you ruined that gracious opportunity!” Lord Ryze ripped her clothes.
With her breasts exposed to the air, both Lydia and Ryze reawakened. Lydia’s determination to resist this man’s carnal desires for the sake of herself and her husband. Ryze’s urge to exert his power on the woman who should’ve long since submitted to him. A battle of two wills that rarely happens in an era like this. Unknown to the both of them, outside the door, there was a repeated sound of something shattering every few seconds.
It was only when the door to the room that Ryze and Lydia were in got broken into that the two noticed! At the sound of the door breaking down, Ryze was only moments away from penetrating Lydia’s most precious place. With this interruption, both Ryze and Lydia’s attention immediately looked toward this intrusion. Two entirely opposite emotions emerged from their faces once they recognized the bloodied visage of the newcomer.
----------------------------------------
John’s fury made itself known without a single word or sound. He didn’t yell, scream, curse, or shout. His swipple made a single movement, and the room was filled with a high-pitched scream once again. Ryze crashed into the wall with several broken bones and life-threatening injuries. Even if he wished to curse out the farmer who put him in this state, he would only worsen his own injuries.
Lydia wiped her tears as she fixed her clothes as best as she could. As John gave her a small smile and crouched down next to her, she couldn’t help but cup his face to see if this was really happening. Then she pounced on him while silently wailing her heart out. John lovingly patted her back as she made a mess of his shirt. He stood up while holding her and made his way over to the lord, barely conscious.
With his flail in one hand and his wife held in his other, John only gave a single swing with his flail shattering from the amount of damage its taken so far. With slight regrets that he couldn’t make this even more excruciating to the lord for the pain, he’s given his wife. The bruise marks and blood on his wife’s face were enough to tell him she did everything she could. So, it only makes sense that John also does everything he can. For now, he had to escape before the country’s soldiers came to arrest him and take his head for harming the country’s soldiers, killing a noble, and causing disorder within the country.

Lord Ryze’s body was discovered while the fires were being put out. His skull resembled a burst watermelon. At first, they weren’t able to identify him based on the damage to the corpse, but later on, several of the female servants and soldiers were able to recognize him through his articles of clothing and body type. The guard in charge of protecting the Young Lord stood over Ryze’s body with a somber look on his face.
“One night...” The guard was in complete disbelief.
“All of this was done in one night by a farmer?” General Gordon looked at the soldiers and servants in obvious disdain and ridicule.
“We would never dare lie to you, Lord!” The servants pressed their foreheads into the ground more.
“What the hell is going on?” General Gordon sighed while holding his head.
He knew these servants and soldiers wouldn’t dare lie to him. It was just that what he was hearing from them was complete nonsense! A farmer took on multiple trained soldiers with nothing but a wooden flail and murdered a noble in his own estate no less before fleeing into the mountains. Instead of a farmer, what he was hearing sounded more like a myth or fable told to peasants and growing nobles about what would happen to evil nobles.
“Gather a hundred men and search the mountains. I want to see this infamous farmer with the strength of fifty men for myself.” General Gordon told his right-hand man and proceeded to leave the grieving mother and father of Ryze behind.
