Chapter 1: The Beginning
When I wake up, I find myself surrounded by darkness. Panic sets in, and I feel groggy, so I drift back to sleep. The next time I awaken, I open my eyes to find myself in a room—though it's more appropriate to call it a cell. Confusion washes over me. Where am I? The last thing I remember is heading home after work.
Then pain hits me like a wave, making it feel as though my brain might fall apart. Suddenly, strange memories flood into my mind. My name is Ye Chan, the youngest son of the Ye family. I have seven elder sisters and an older brother, and I also have a fiancée.
As I process these memories, I feel pity for this guy—the previous owner of this body. His life was truly unfortunate. When he was born, everyone was shocked to discover he had no power. In this world, everyone possesses some form of ability, depending on where they come from. Unfortunately, the previous owner of this body had none at all. This led to disappointment from everyone, even his own mother.

When he turned three, his older brother began to hate him. I didn't understand why until one day, he confessed that he was jealous. He loved my fiancée, but she was promised to me. He claimed I didn't deserve her and even began to frame me for various misdeeds.
He pretended to be a kind-hearted young master while spreading false rumors about me.
Eventually, he told my fiancée that I had watched her while she was showering. Furious, she slapped the previous owner. Because he was just an ordinary human, the slap was enough to kill him. But no one noticed; his father ordered him thrown out of the main house and locked in this cell as punishment. Tragically, no one realized that the previous owner was already dead. That's how I ended up in this body.
I glance around the empty room, noting the shabby bed and nothing else. Even slaves live in better conditions. I feel a wave of sadness wash over me. My entire body aches like hell. After piecing together everything, I decide I must leave this family. If my older brother finds out I'm still alive, he will surely kill me.
But first, I need to heal my body. I check myself for any healing pills, but sadly, there's nothing. Dejected, I sit helplessly in the corner of the bed.
Suddenly, new information flashes into my mind. It's about my power. Shocked, I quickly start to examine the details.
