The Dark Awakening of Suju Katori

The Dark Awakening of Suju Katori

Suju Katori was living a normal high school life. Unlike most, he even had a girlfriend, Kanon. Suju was a kind soul, always ready to help those in need. Unfortunately, many of his classmates took advantage of his kindness, forcing him to do unpleasant things for their amusement. Despite their bullying, Suju always smiled, pretending everything was fine.

However, his girlfriend, Kanon, hated this about him. She thought he was a wimp who never stood up for himself. Little did she know, deep inside, Suju despised those who bullied him. He often imagined hundreds of strategies to make them suffer, but he never acted on them. He believed in forgiveness, thinking it was the most human thing to do.

One day, Kanon asked Suju to meet her in the park. There, she broke up with him. Her words shattered him, but he didn’t argue or protest. He silently went home, locked his door, and began arguing with his inner "evil side."

“You should forgive her and move on,” Suju said to himself.

The evil side, however, responded angrily:

“No! We’ve endured this long enough. It’s time to show everyone who we really are!”

Suju clenched his fists in frustration. “No, forgiveness is the best thing we can do as humans!”

But his evil side growled, “You’ll regret this.”

That night, Suju went to sleep, uneasy and conflicted.

The Shift

Two weeks passed since the breakup, yet Kanon remained fresh in Suju’s memory. At school, Suju sat quietly in his seat, watching Kanon cling to Katagora Saigo—the very boy who bullied him the most. The sight devastated Suju, but he pinched his hand to calm himself, vowing not to let his emotions show.

During lunch, Katagora approached Suju, kicked his chair, and laughed.

“It’s just like she said. You’re a cowardly wimp!” Katagora mocked, making the class laugh.

As always, Suju pretended it didn’t bother him, though his heart burned with anger.

Suddenly, a bright light filled the classroom, and strange markings appeared on the walls. Students screamed, running for the exits, but some, including Suju, Kanon, and Katagora, were trapped inside.

When the light faded, the classroom was gone. Suju opened his eyes to see three girls battling goblins nearby. Kanon and Katagora huddled together in fear, with goblins closing in on them.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Despite everything, Suju ran to protect them, standing in front of the goblins. Katagora also tried to shield Kanon, but Suju pushed him aside and took the blow from a goblin’s club. The force sent him flying near the fighting girls.

As Suju struggled to stand, he heard Kanon’s voice.

“Are you okay, Katagora? Did that good-for-nothing coward hurt you?”

Something inside Suju snapped. He began laughing hysterically, his voice filled with malice.

“Hahahahahahaha!”

Kanon clung to Katagora, terrified. “Have you gone insane?” she screamed.

Suju’s eyes gleamed with hatred as he yelled, “Shut the hell up, you bitch, or I’ll kill you!”

Everyone stared at Suju, shocked by his transformation.

The Deal with the Goblins

Suju turned to the girls battling the goblins. “Do you speak English?” he asked.

The girls couldn’t understand him, but one began chanting a spell. A glowing circle appeared on the ground, and when the light faded, they could understand each other.

Suju grinned. “Can you use that spell on the goblins, too?”

The girl nodded, chanted again, and soon, the goblins’ words became intelligible.

Suju turned to one of the goblins. “You want to mate with these girls, don’t you?”

The goblin sneered. “And if I say yes, how will you stop us?”

Suju’s smile widened. “Oh, I’m not going to stop you. I’ll help you.”

The goblins looked confused. “Why would a human help us?”

“Because I hate that woman,” Suju said, pointing at Kanon. “I don’t want to risk my life saving someone I despise—or some strangers, for that matter.”

The goblins muttered among themselves. Then, a goblin sorcerer holding a staff appeared, skeptical of Suju’s intentions.

“Why would a human betray his kind?” the sorcerer asked.

“Humans are selfish creatures,” Suju replied with a grin.

The sorcerer laughed. “Fine. But if you try anything suspicious, I’ll kill you myself.”

Suju nodded. “Fair enough. But first, let’s lock the girls and the others in a cell. We’ll demand gold from their village in exchange for their lives. Once we have the gold, I’ll use it to buy better gear. Then, we can attack the whole village, and you’ll have more women to mate with.”

The goblins laughed, impressed by Suju’s cunning.

The Plan Unfolds

Suju went to the forest, accompanied by goblins, under the pretense of gathering food. While there, he collected poisonous plants and mushrooms. Back at the cave, he cooked a simple soup, laced with poison.

When the goblins ate, they began collapsing one by one. The sorcerer, who hadn’t eaten, realized something was wrong. “Where are you, human?!” he shouted.

Suju emerged from behind the bone throne, wielding a sword. With a swift strike, he decapitated the sorcerer.

“Hahaha! Foolish goblins!” Suju laughed maniacally.

He then unlocked the girls’ cell. One of them asked, “Did your plan work?”

“It sure did,” Suju replied.

Kanon, stunned, asked, “What plan?”

The magic-using girl explained, “Suju asked us about poisonous plants earlier. He used them to poison the goblins’ food, killing them all.”

Kanon began crying and hugged Suju, apologizing for everything she had said. But Suju pushed her away.

“Don’t misunderstand, bitch. I didn’t do it for you. I did it because it was fun.”

The group left the cave, Suju’s chilling laughter echoing behind them.
