Chapter 2: First interaction with the world

Ding Dong!

Ding Dong!

The chime of the bell indicating the passing of an hour could be heard from the distance. Walking on the hot and narrow road that only allows one carriage to cross at a time, the thirsty and sweat ridden Osas was relieved to know that he can meet others and seek shelter or help even if it is temporary.

As Osas started walking faster, he could see huts and buildings in the distance. Due to his body being that of a child's, his eyes are still in good condition and have not been deteriorated due to looking at technological screens too much. Though that is not possible in this era.

After some time, Osas finally reached within a 10-metre radius of the city's entrance. There stood no formidable walls encircling the city, no barriers to deter or protect. It was as though the very absence of such fortifications whispered an invitation to all who approached: "Don't be shy. Welcome to our city." In times of war, such vulnerability would undoubtedly render this city a swift conquest, its defenses nonexistent.

There was not even a sign to indicate the entrance. Worn-down huts, their structures haphazardly arranged, crowded together, leaving only a narrow path for entry. Garbage and filth littered the surroundings. It begged the question: how could anyone endure living in such a place?

Reflecting upon this scene, Osas concluded that this was not the primary entrance to the city, but rather one of many paths leading inward. The chaotic placement of structures suggested a lack of cohesive planning.

Although I want to be in the presence of humans just for assurance, that doesn't mean I will blindly enter an unknown place that might be full of danger. From the countless mangas and manhwas I read, the characters who do that are usually the ones who die first or trigger some sort of event that will progress the story which might bring forth a calamity. Moreover I failed to obtain any weapons at the place where I started or on the way. It is better to be safe than sorry.

With that train of thought, Osas restrained his desire and took cover behind a bush near him to scout out the place further. After a while, he saw people, albeit it being the amount one can count on one's hand. The people looked like drug addicts, and some were just laying on the ground with numerous garbage scattered throughout the area. There were taller buildings behind the buildings near the entrance and they looked more fancy. Almost as if there is a separation between the areas depending on the resident's status. Osas could hear countless people clammering and talking, just like a bustling city.

Strange, I hear numerous people, but I cannot see any traces of them. Maybe the sounds are coming from the tall buildings ahead? ...Well, it's not like I can just stay here all day. You can't get anywhere in life if you don't take risks. I'll just have to be more cautious.

Osas left his cover and approached the village entrance with caution. He walked as slow as possible making him feel like an hour as passed. He entered the village and scoured his surroundings expecting that he will have eyes on him. Failing his expectations, the few people around him were either on the floor with their face facing down or looking at the scorching sun while standing at attention with a hideous smile on their face, and their eyes turning red. The sight of that creeped Osas out that he wanted to immediately make a bee line out of the place. However, he curbed it and continued forward.

As Osas walked through the lonely road littered with garbage and sense of edginess, he saw happenings such as a child his age eating what looks like to be an almost fully eaten bread covered with mud water and a young mother feeding her child 2 years younger than him a dead rat. Repulsed by the vile spectacle that unfolded before him, he found him himself helplessly compelled to undergo an involuntary ejection of the contents in his stomach which was empty. The act of regurgitation caused the miniscule amount of water left in his stomach to surge out, causing him to thirst more helplessly. At that point, Osas's thought process tilted towards running away from the place, just like any normal person from the 21st century would have done. Unfortunately, his curiosity and desire to obtain any source of food and water, outweighed his rationality and fear.

Further ahead, Osas finally reached a crowded and noisy place. Due to the overabundance of people walking around, Osas couldn't stand still in one place and was feeling a little overwhelmed. He was pushed around in the crowd with his foot being stepped on quite often. Osas was about cry as his body was that of a child's, the urge to cry was stronger despite being much older in mental years. He was going to fall when a hand reached out to him and held him close.

The hand was soft and tender, but one could tell that this hand went through a lot of training evident of the calluses. The hand led to a voluptuous figure wearing a black cloth that covered her whole body including half of her face at the bottom, only showing her bright blue eyes, long eyelashes, and clear skin. She was wearing a large Vietnamese hat that gave a shade for everyone near her. It was inconvenient for the people walking near her, but no one said anything.

"You alright there boy?~", the clear and beautiful voice resonated with Osas and held back his urge to cry. The face about to burst with tears appeared within the woman's eye view.

"Hmm, hold on boy, let's first get you out of here~" the women spoke as she princess carried Osas on her arms with his face buried in her soft, firm, and perky chest fats.

...Mhmmmm... So humiliating, although I am a child currently, my mentality is still that of someone who went through puberty... Moreover, she is tucking me in her breasts! I C-Can't breathe!

"Hold on tight boy~" she said as she teleported a few metres south-west in the fraction of a second.

"We're here boy... you can let go now~", the woman said in voice that seemed as if she was teasing him.

A-Already? B-But it's only been a moment!

The 18-year-old virgin Osas didn't want to let go of the first breasts he touched in his life as he strongly clung on to the woman. The woman was silent for a few moments when she strangely held out her hand and stroke the head of Osas. This surprised Osas as one, a random stranger was touching him and two, he had never been shown affection due to his upbringing of constant abuse and isolation. Due to that, Osas didn't know what to do as he immediately let go of the woman's plump breasts and landed on the ground safely as he looked up at the towering woman.
