Apparently, I am current in Camp PG now, the lower level camp of Camp Pegasus. Camp DG has already been destroyed and it will be reinstated once a cycle of camp destruction has passed, meaning that 25% of the newly reinstated camps have been destroyed. As there are hundreds of hidden lower level camps around the world, one cycle would usually take decades.
Many had died in the battle to hold back the monster raid while the rest escaped. Usually the older members would be the ones holding the fort for the younger ones to escape, but as Wu Die had to manage the newer member me, she was placed on the escape list to leave with me.
Not long after awakening in Camp PG, I was forced to take a test to determine my awakened power. The lousy supervisors simply showed me some pictures of some dull runic symbol and told me to point to the one that I believed I had the most connection to. Although I did not feel anything from each of the symbol, I pointed randomly to the one with a weird "J" like symbol, and then the supervisor told me to summon water, in which I could only stare back blankly to. Apparently, the runic symbol I chose was a runic symbol engraved by the god of the sea, Poseidon. What a coincidence.
By now, I understood who the man that my heart beats to was. Wu Die explained that the gods enjoyed disguising as mortals when they search for a mate, but usually they would still have a distinguishing trait due to their godly powers such as Poseidon who has his deep blue eyes. I now understood that the man who saved me and the man who I truly cared for was no young master Ye for young master Ye was only the target chosen by him as a disguise.
Of course, as I was only his mate, I should not have awaken to these supernatural powers as I was told that mortal mates of gods do not have supernatural powers as all the powers injected by the gods would be transferred to the unborn child. It seems that I was a child of some god myself, which seriously complicated things, especially if I'm the daughter or descendant of Poseidon; however, it did not seem so as I was deemed to not have any relationship to any of the gods seeing as I could not even use a simple ounce of power. I could only stare blankly as that supervisor stared blankly back at me, then he dismissed me, allowing me to live a normal life, as a new member of Camp PG.
Then, I spent most of my days wandering aimlessly in the camp as I imagined how my sweet treasure would. I would spend time with Wu Die as we both sometimes cry together once we hit on the topic of Fu'er, but our time together did not last long. For within a year, the peacefulness of Camp PG was broken as it was invaded as well. Although I wanted to attend battle, I was denied due to being new and having no powers, but Wu Die was sent to the front lines, and I never saw her again. Her last words to me were an apology that she'll be joining Big Brother Fu first, and she hoped that I would live on as that was Fu'er's last wish. Live on I did.

Time passed as I slowly understood more about this other world. The monsters that invaded this world are known as the demonic beings from the abyss, daemon. The demigods are usually the ones that defend against such invasions when these mobs decide to disturb the peace of normal civilian life. Of course, the events are kept under wraps as the fights are usually in a higher dimension, separate from mortals; however, there are unfortunate cases where unlucky mortals slip into these dimensions, waiting to be slaughtered, if they were too close to the spawning of the gates of the abyss, where the daemons come through.
As for the fog that appears when a camp is under attack, it is known as the fog of war. It has the magical property of expelling mortals from the dimension of the battle while serving as a fog to obscure the view of enemies, but usually it has not much use as only higher level fog of war, nebula of war, has magical properties that can harm daemons. Of course, these higher level mechanism are only at high level camps, serving as one of the deterrence to daemon invasion.
As for the strength of daemon, apparently the imps were the lowest level cannon fodder while the Minotaur were of foot soldier level. Then above them were Skeleton knights commanding its personal skeleton army along with other demonic beasts. Their commanders are usually intelligent daemon including but not limited to succubus, incubus, vampires, and cyclops. Then there are the strong kings and queens of each of those races, along with a rumored daemon kings above them.
Apparently, the abyss was always in conflict with the Olympian Gods race as it seems that they are contending for the power to rule over the race with potential, humans, but humans sided with the Gods as the gods did not treat them as much as a livestock as the abyss. Nowadays, only the Olympian gods are known in myth while the abyss creatures are mentioned scarcely as mythological monsters that harm human society.
As for my new power, I gradually discovered it. Through surviving every battle using the stealth skills I learned back when I was a normal maid, I lived longer and longer, much too long. My lifespan seemed to had extended for a couple of decades as my hair finally turned white when I was over one hundred year old. It seemed that my power was time slow on physical body, but I have no control over it. As I lived through battle after battle, I watched as new children came and went, perishing usually in the stomach of daemons.
My heart grew cold as I understood more of this world. I understood that I had no power to protect them, nor do they have the power to protect each other, no matter how much we band together. However, there were also some who leapt from being a snake into a dragon overnight as with a single "divine" message from their godly parent, they were granted a life in the high level camp where they would completely forget, through a memory wipe, about the brother in arms who had fought so hard with them.
I realized that with a word from those above, anyone's plight can easily be solved, but unfortunately, those above do not listen to us from below. I lied on the still hard bed of Camp KK, which does not actually have a higher level camp name as it was one of the camps where the old were disposed. I let out a weak, tired sighed as I closed eyes for my well deserved rest from all of this craziness of a 150 year old lifetime.
