Like many stories from history start, this one also opens with a sad event. At an annual event in the Principality of Eyros, a human supremacist country, a young white tiger girl named Vanesica prepares the tables for the nobles that are going to be coming to attend Donum Lucis. One of the most significant events in the new calendar, stories say that on this day 150 years ago Prince Vargus received the power and the guidance of the god of light Hastam Solis, and finally defeated the opposing counties and united them into the Principality of Eyros. Others say that the tradition of Donum Lucis has been created by Prince Vargus’s nephew Milos when the country was going through an economic struggle due to a drought followed by another year in which the spring and summer wore very cold and rainy, depleting the people's food supplies, as a solution Prince Milos looked at the other races and mainly disjointed tribes of beastmen like Tigris, Lupus, and Lacertis justifying that this is a punishment from the gods because they allow such vile creatures to live as equals among humans, such starting the Purification as it was called by humans, a war against the beastmen tribes in which most of the tribes were killed or takes hostages to be used as workhorses or as pleasure for the soldiers and nobles.

The woman shouting at our hopeless girl is Ixina the head maid and personal instructor for the lord's children, she went to the prestigious Academy "Her Majesty Selena of Eyros" an institution created by the wife of Vargus the one that unified the Principality. The Academies goal is to educate the higher nobles of the country to help them imorove and get better positions in the government and for the lower nobles like the daughter's of knights to become proper ladies and be attendant's to higher nobles in hopes of one day marrying into higher status. Lady Ixina even though she is regarded as one of the countries best attendants and received many offers for marriage she refused them and continued her life as an attendant.
