The advanced blades had spun up, and they lifted off. Hun, as fast as she possibly could, took off all of her fatigues. Luckily, she always wore a t-shirt and sweatpants under. There was nothing she could do about her boots, but they hadn't seen her face or even skin. They maybe had spotted the tail end of her long hair. Speaking of which, Hun thought while taking off her helmet, I need to get a knife. Next part was the hard part. Taking off her body armor. She began to slowly take it off, but that was just prolonging the pain in her ribs. So, she just pulled it off as fast as possible. Hun made a noise. Her ribs really needed attention. There was an entire wall between her and the rich man, probably so they could snipe at her. Then she leaned over and began to pack all her stuff into a bag. Imagine getting this through airport security. Now Hun looked kinda like a normal woman, excluding the bruise. They were nearing the tall buildings, but for now, they were over a large open field. This is the point at which they would fire at her. Hun ducked and switched to manual. A bullet entered from the right side, and exited the left. It even passed through where her head was supposed to be. The way she ducked wasn't a duck. It was slumping over like she had been killed. The window was open on the right side, and that was all she needed. She jerked the controls right, and so the helicopter pitched right. Hun allowed gravity to pull her and the duffel bag clenched in her right hand. They slid out the window, but she hit her ribs on the window, further damaging them. Hun coughed, and blood came with it. It hurt really bad to breath with a rib that was sticking into your lungs. I really need to go home. Luckily, parachutes are also on military helicopters. But Hun would need to pull the cord right next to the ground, in a sort of valley or dip in the ground. She located one, but would have to get there fast, still looking limp. She angled her body so that the rushing air would push her in that direction. It was easier without her gear on. She was nearing the ground, and her breath quickened. That caused more pain and her focus to decrease. Made it over the ledge of the canyon, which was just deep enough. She pulled the cord when she knew the sniper couldn't see her. She slowed quickly, but not quick enough. She was still travelling as fast as if she had jumped off a 10 foot ledge. Hun let out a grunt as she hit the ground. She didn't try to keep her legs firm, and let them buckle under the force. She managed to crouch, lessening the force exerted on her legs. Hun then plopped down to sit and catch her breath. Hun then plopped down to sit and catch her breath, and to check if she had broken any of her bones in the process. Why do they have a random canyon in the middle of a city? She glanced over and saw a sign. In a pleasant, rounded font, it read: “Welcome to Khanyoan Canyon, in Pointed Rock national public land.” Oh. The canyon was too deep to fill and build around, and the limestone under the ground nearby is too weak for large buildings and foundations... So the government made a park, and make money off admissions. Pretty smart, for money seeking pigs. Hun slowly stood up, still probing for injuries. Nothing hurt really bad, except for her lower left ribs. She also knew that enough physical activity would push her rib into her lung, resulting in her asphyxiation. Taking a small baby step, Hun eased her way toward the sign which indicated her location. It stated that an exit and or parking area was in two miles.
