Looking back, it wasn't such a bad life afterall. You know what I mean, right?
All considered, I still had 1month left, and I could use it however I wanted to until I was allowed one single wish. There was this one girl too who was also on her last days, having only 25 days on her disposal. Compared to her I might have been considered fortunate or perhaps unfortunate.
The day we met was the day I found that I only had 1 month left, quite funny, for she was doing charity — even though she was on her last leg — as I walked past her. I wouldn't even have met her if I hadn't taken alternative route to school that day to clear my mind, let alone talk to her — for what seemed an eternity bliss — under the charity stall.
The charity was for those suffering from 'Angel defect', caused by their Guardian Angel unintentionally.
[Let there be a companion for those who need one]
Was the slogan written on the stall, and all I knew was for some reason I returned, and started conversing with her.
Me, being a person who didn't saw value in life that would be ending without our consent, somehow came to agree with the girl who never understood the grievance behind the end of your own life.
"Lonely life is far worse and painful than an ending life." She mentioned in passing, her voice had a tint of experience in it. As I thought about it I, unknowingly, accepted her thinking.
Since we were on our last line either way so, I asked her out.
Never in my life have I ever dared to look at a girl but, now I had a companion who would be with me till my last breath; except for Guardian Angels that lived in our shadows, but that too would leave me 7 min and 30 second before my death after completing my one whish which can be manifested by the amount of Karma I had.

29 days to go.
"So, you are taking leave. The news was true after all." The middle aged teacher, whose name I never bothered learning, sighed. "How do you feel Abdiel?"
I just shook my head as a reply. I wasn't shocked or saddened by my nearing death, as I was already expecting it since the day I started having hard time using my voice.
'You won't say goodbye?' asked the shadow behind me with it's gutteral voice, when I stepped out of the school premises
"Who do you think is the cause of my untimely death?" I asked in silent whispers.
'I am sorry, I really am.'
"It doesn't really bother me you know? I didn't had a reason to be bothered." I assured the overly sensitive dude, as I asked. "So is it cup noodles tonight?"
Least I could have done was eat something that I wanted to and was cheap too.
'Don't forget you have a date today.'
I just smirked at the shadow, as I tapped the shoulder of Almiesis, my date.
She went deaf yesterday while we were conversing, that's how I found that she too had limited time. Good thing I was well versed in sign language and, according to her she learned it to communicate with her Guardian Angel who didn't had mouth.
"All... Good?" I signalled stiffly to recieve a positive answer.
She was dressed in simple clothing that was tipical of summer as the strawhat she wore made her look cute.
She had long black hair, which I couldn't help but stare at for hours. Her eyes were that of innocence and her smile filled with true joy, the smile wasn't hindered but the wearer's inevitable early death. But her simple face that wore all these was mesmerizing, I am not saying that she was the most beautiful girl in the world or that she was my type of woman, but she was right now the only human contact I wanted to have.
We went around making a fool of ourself. The rides for children, the screaming in rollercoaster, the crashing of miniature cars, and to top it off me almost drowning in the pool. It was the first time I had such fun, the first time I felt like maybe I wanted to live, maybe life wasn't that meaningless but, I soon erased these stray thoughts as we continued on our mini-adventure 100% date run.
She pulled me all of a sudden in a hidden section of the recreation and adventure facility.
"What ... Are... You upto?" I signalled confused as she signalled back like a child telling an exciting secret.
"Wanna, show .. you something."
The lights were off in the room, through echo alone I could tell the room was large very large and empty.
"You love stories, right?" She whispered in my ear.
Suddenly lights flashed, my vision blinded for a sec but what awaited was beautiful.
Tinted glass which formed stories, many fables and music that accompanied them. This whole room was a large story book which told stories without uttering a single word. The story of Kaguya, The Moon Princess. How she came to this world, fell in love with a human and gave an elixer of immortality to him before leaving, how he burned it as he couldn't live in solitude, and how heartbroken The Princess felt when she finally returned back to meet her lover.
'there was an ending like this, I didn't know.' I laughed inwardly.
"Thank... Didn't know.. there was a story place.. like this." I signalled smiling from ear to ear.
"I made it." She answered with a low voice, her hand clenched and her arms tightening near her chest.
So she is a rich chic huh, to be able to build hall this large. I thought while laughing at my courage to ask her out.
"It wasn't that hard to build, probably a lot more cheaper that I estimated." She assured, her face darkened as she saw my face made a smile which showed and asked —I loved this but was all this out of pity.
