In the far future, a future where humanity has seen countless rises and falls, the governments formed an organization to protect peace. This organization was called the Protectors. Since their founding in 2756, the Protectors thwarted dozens of evildoers around the solar system and put an end to countless attempts of tyranny.
But everything changed in 2992 when a terrorist organization known as the Red Mune rose to power. Their brutal leader, Cypus Skavenge, conquered Mars and then set his ambitions on the more powerful Earth. After many battles between the Protectors and the Red Mune forces, only half of Earth remained free while the rest fell under the control of Skavenge.
While the world seemed to be at a stalemate for the next seven years, the Protectors learned of a Red Mune doomsday project in development called the Y3K: a virus that would interdimensionally hack all computers in the solar system from the year 2000 and onward. With this virus, Skavenge would gain control of the computers and rule the past, present, and future. The Protectors called upon Skyva Ravenstone, the prestigious teenage daughter of their leader Pamela Ravenstone, to steal the Y3K before it was too late.

Skyva found the Y3K in a USB drive in a Mexican lab. As she made her way out of the Red Mune compound, she triggered an alarm, causing hundreds of Red Mune agents to chase after her. Cornered, Skyva grabbed a teleportation device and attempted to escape back to the Protector headquarters. Instead, she was sent back in time exactly one thousand years, to a time where she would meet an unlikely hero.
