Lights collide

Lights collide

As the explosion shook the battlefield, Leon appeared in a blur of motion, his movements precise and calm despite the chaos. He knelt beside Baluka, his hands glowing as he channeled his healing energy into her wounds. Her breathing was shallow, and her body trembled with exhaustion, but Leon’s focused expression never wavered.

“You’ll be fine,” he murmured, though the roar of the ongoing fight above nearly drowned out his words. He glanced upward, his eyes narrowing. The clash between Nur and Destiny had shifted the air itself; the vibrations made it hard to stay still. Debris floated, suspended momentarily before crumbling under the strain of reality bending.

Leon’s gaze darted back to Baluka for a moment before returning skyward. “He’s so fast,” he muttered under his breath, scanning the chaotic aftermath. “If I hadn’t given him that drug, he’d still be trapped in his own fear. But now… now he’s transcending it. Nur’s learning more about light style with every moment, pushing his limits. It’s almost terrifying.”

Meanwhile, Destiny rose from the rubble of a building, brushing the debris from his shoulders with calculated nonchalance. His body was whole again, fully regenerated, as if the last attack had been nothing more than an inconvenience.

His glowing eyes radiated contempt and restrained fury. “I’ll kill him later,” Destiny muttered, his voice a low growl. “Right now, I need energy… I need to recover.”

With a sharp burst of movement, Destiny disappeared, only to reappear moments later, streaking past Nur like a blur of darkness.

Nur spun, his fists glowing with a barely contained energy that crackled like lightning. His wide, almost maniacal grin never faltered. “You’re ignoring me again?!” Nur bellowed, his voice echoing across the battlefield.

Destiny didn’t slow or turn. He didn’t even acknowledge Nur’s taunt. Instead, his thoughts churned with disdain. This boy… he’s nothing compared to Rex or the past elite force members. He doesn’t even come close to a Dark Flame user. He’s just… a pebble.

But Nur’s grin widened, his teeth bared like a predator. His body trembled—not from fear, but from exhilaration. His muscles spasmed, his movements jittery but calculated.

“I get it now,” Nur thought, his confidence swelling. Light style—it’s all about tension, pushing my body beyond its limits, and using those spasms to generate insane speed. I can do this!

A sudden beam of light streaked across the battlefield, cutting off Destiny’s path with an almost deafening hum.

Destiny skidded to a halt, his glowing eyes narrowing in irritation. “What now?” he muttered, scanning the shimmering obstruction.

To his shock, Nur burst from the beam, tumbling uncontrollably but laughing all the way. He slammed into a building with a deafening crash, the structure crumbling around him. Moments later, he emerged, brushing himself off as if nothing had happened.

“Ow! Haha!” Nur laughed, his voice ringing out amidst the chaos.

Stolen story; please report.

Destiny stared at him, his confusion deepening into outright frustration. Who is this fool? he thought, his fists clenching as his patience wore thin.

Meanwhile, Nur’s thoughts burned with unshakable determination. Rex… am I finally catching up to you? No. Right now, it feels like I could surpass you!

In Germany

The square was filled with people, but a single woman pushed her way through the crowd, her hands gripping the handles of a wheelchair. Her husband sat stiffly in the chair, his expression vacant, his body unresponsive.

“Honey, look!” the woman cried, her voice trembling with emotion. “Nur is alive! He’s alive!”

She pushed the wheelchair closer to the massive monitor in the center of the square. The screen displayed the battle in real-time, the image shaky but clear enough to show Nur’s glowing figure darting across the battlefield.

Her husband’s eyes, once dull and lifeless, slowly lifted to meet the screen. His face remained motionless for a moment before something inside him broke. Tears welled up, spilling down his cheeks as he stared at his son.

“He’s smiling,” the woman whispered, her voice catching in her throat. She gripped her husband’s hand tightly, her own tears falling freely. “Smiling like he used to when he was a boy.”

Back with the fight

Nur launched himself forward with a glowing punch, the force of his attack creating another massive explosion that rippled through the battlefield. The ground shook, and the air shimmered with the residual energy of the clash.

Both fighters were thrown back by the impact. Nur slammed into the remains of a tower, while Destiny skidded into a heap of rubble, his frustration growing with each passing moment.

Destiny rose first, his glowing eyes narrowing. His hands trembled, not from exhaustion but from an emotion he refused to name. Why is this trash making me angrier than that girl? he thought, his teeth grinding audibly. Why does he remind me of Malin?

On the other side of the battlefield, Nur staggered to his feet, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. Despite the damage, his grin was as wide as ever, his fists glowing with renewed energy.

“It’s all your fault, Malin!” Destiny roared, his voice cutting through the chaos like a blade. His glare was fixed on Nur, but his mind seemed elsewhere, trapped in memories that refused to let go.

Nur tilted his head, his grin faltering for a moment before turning into a bark of laughter. “Your memory’s trash, Yeager scum! My name is Nur Becker, you fuckface!”

But Destiny wasn’t listening. His mind swirled with chaotic thoughts, memories of Malin flooding his consciousness. Malin… I exterminated her entire family. Her parents, siblings, her husband, her daughter. Is that why Luna tortured this boy as a child? Or is it just… fate? Time and space conspiring to torment me? That smile of his—it’s like he carries her FUCKING WILL.

Destiny’s frustration erupted like a volcano. “It’s all your fault, Malin!” he screamed again, his voice cracking with rage and something far more vulnerable—fear.

Nur’s grin widened once more, his confidence unshakable. “You’re a broken record, old man! Let’s settle this!”

Destiny’s energy surged, his body radiating with dark, chaotic power. “I need power,” he thought. “Just enough to escape and recover.” But as the thought formed, he shook his head. No. He would end it here.

“No more running,” Destiny growled. “Yeager ability: Limitless Reality Collapse.”

A monstrous, moss-like entity materialized behind him, its form pulsating with an unholy energy. It surged forward, its sheer presence distorting the battlefield around it.

Leon, watching from a distance, clenched his fists. His breath caught in his throat. “He needs to dodge. This is all or nothing—a Yeager’s ultimate gamble,” he thought, his voice trembling.

Nur’s smirk widened. “Are you kidding me?” he shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. “You’re putting everything on that? You lose!”

He planted his feet firmly, his body glowing brighter than ever before. His fists crackled with energy as he prepared his final attack.

“Rex…” Nur thought, his mind racing with memories of his mentor. This is for you. One last time. Light Style: Gamma Ray Burst!

He threw his punch, the energy bursting from his fist with the force of a supernova. The light was blinding, the heat searing, as his attack obliterated Destiny’s monstrous shield in a single, decisive blow.

“You’re dead!” Nur roared, his voice echoing as he closed the distance. He unleashed a second Gamma Ray Burst, the energy slamming into Destiny’s body with unstoppable force.

The resulting explosion lit up the battlefield, the shockwave visible for miles. The ground trembled, and the air itself seemed to scream under the pressure.

As the dust settled, Destiny’s body was no more. His head was gone, and his form dissipated into nothingness, leaving only silence in his wake.

Nur staggered, barely able to stay on his feet. His body was battered and broken, his energy spent, but his grin never wavered.

Far away, in a helicopter, Rex watched the explosion through a window. His face remained stoic, but his eyes betrayed a flicker of pride as he muttered under his breath, “Good job, kid.”

Back on the battlefield, Nur fell to his knees. He tilted his head toward the sky, his grin softening into a faint smile.

“I hope I left a mark,” he thought, his vision dimming. “Something no one can ever forget.”

With that, he collapsed, his body finally giving out as the battlefield fell silent once more.
