I wake up on the day of my aunt's wedding, my mind filled with enchanting images of the beautiful ceremony and the sweet melodies that will soon fill the air. My mom's voice interrupts my thoughts, shouting from the hallway, "Keith, are you awake?" I respond affirmatively and begin getting ready. However, I lag behind schedule, “ go ahead ma, I’m going to follow up later”.
Arriving at the venue, I'm struck by its breathtaking beauty. "Isn't this place incredible, Mom?" I comment as we step through the doors. "Absolutely," she replies. "By the way, have you seen your sister?" I shake my head, and as I search for her, then drawn by her screams from the prayers room.
Entering the room, I freeze. Blood trickling down the room and the wails of my sister filling it. She’s on the phone with 911, surrounded by the haunting sight of blood and cradling a lifeless child. Desperation in her eyes, I demand answers, "What happened here?" but someone advises allowing her a moment to compose herself. I exit the room, overwhelmed by the gruesome scene.
The wailing sirens and a blur of emotions follow as I make my way home. The harrowing image of the child's tragedy lingers, and from my room, I hear my sister's prayers, seeking solace in the face of unimaginable grief. “In our grief, we turn to You, the source of all love and mercy, trusting that even in the face of tragedy, Your compassion remains steadfast. “

In the washroom, the echoes of tragedy prompt existential questions about the nature of God, “does god exist, or is he a figment of humans imagination in search for the comfort of their existence”. I push aside these thoughts for now. Suddenly, my mother's scream pierces the air. Rushing to the balcony, I find her on the ground, distressed. "What happened?" I asked. With a trembling voice she said “FIND YOUR SISTER, SHE RAN DOWN SAYING THAT SHE SAW THE DEAD GIRL”
I rush down in fear, almost falling down the stairs from my fear, hearing my heart beat faster than it has ever. I find my sister standing still and right in-front of her the child, getting sexually assaulted by a guy. I puke my guts out, Unable to move or speak a word. My sister falls on the ground, and starts wailing and screaming. Her words almost incomprehensible, yet I understand them. “WHAT TYPE OF GOD ARE YOU” she screamed “WHAT GOD ALOWS THIS TO HAPPEN IN HIS OWN WORLD, HIS OWN CREATIONS SO EVIL”. Her screams hurt me, they cut deep. I see the man walking towards her. I run, attempting to save her from him. But I wasn’t there in time, and I hear him say “I have always wondered, how much effort would it take to make a believer a disbeliever”. I fall, the world spins around me like im about to pass out as I wonder ‘what type of human is that man?, why push a humans limit?, why kill a child?, why assault her?, why?, why?, why?’ then,I collapse.
