Darvon Zhaber spent years refining a plan to get the most out of his sacrifice to his families chained Old One, burning through all the wealth his war hero parents left him in his preparations. There is enough backstabbing and kidnapping in the plane without an invasion to deal with, now its only gotten worse. Darvon will have to rely on his creativity and allies in order to crawl through the sea of blood that stands in his way. Zhaber's Curse is a progression fantasy, though the main character doesn’t start at zero. The whole story will span many books, and half a dozen planes. There will be politics, warfare, crafting, and quite a bit of travel. It will mainly follow one POV, but I will scatter about a few other perspectives here and there, mainly from Darvon's familiar Saria.
