Prologue:

part Two
After hurrying up, she was able to get there in time for the new shift of digging at the Deseado Crater Zone N7. Her alien co-worker greeted her, with a strong accent “hello so pretty Sheridan! Were you able to get back your new clozhes? I’m so so sorry for ruining your work suit! Do you want my clams?” the young lad pulled out a box that contain the clams, it had a clam-like logo on it, barely visible.
Sheridan was taken aback by the ferret-bird-like alien his body was covered in a weird work suit, it had a shape that looked like a ferret but he had a small and thin stature with a long slender tail. He stood on his slender back legs, that were similar to a bird. Then his long thin arms were extended to her with that box of clams.
She blinked twice before saying “thank you Lopin… I’m not in the mood to accept it… but I truly appreciate your thoughts.”
Lopin whined weakly, he was making the puppy eyes toward the grumpy lady.
“Augh, fine, I will take it and promise me to never do that face!” she snatched the box and shoved it in her satchel. They can heard a chime from it: “coward.”
“Oh shaddup HEL, I never asked you…” she grumbled toward her portable AI.
"Yes, yes, you humangirl are coward!” said gleefully without understanding what it does mean.
Sheridan groaned even more…

Four hours later, it was about time for lunch but then, HEL reacted to something “Hum… madam, I have detected some strange signals at the spot where you’re drilling. Also, the ground is about to break.” with his usual butler manner.
“Huh? What?” just as soon as she questioned HEL about it, the ground started to rumble and then… it shattered up like a glass that were hit by a rock from above. The lady fell down with a scream: “HAAAAL YOUUUU ASSHOOOOOOOOLE!”
Every workers turned to where the scream came from, they realized that there was something wrong at this spot precisely, they immediately stopped what they were doing, one of them rushed to the hole but it was too late to save her.

A moment later, in the dark room, Sheridan woke up with something broken beneath herself “augh… Hab SoSll’ Quch! HEL! Couldn’t you have warned me five minutes before I fall down!… huh? HEL?” she looked down to where the satchel is, she opened it up, an intense smell came out of the bag. “Great Scott! These stinky clams!” she got repulsed by it, she emptied the smelly sack, many objects splattered on the ground, and so are the broken box full of destroyed clams.
Sheridan tried to find the portable device in this mess of smelly organic sea meats. And when she found it, the device was broken in pieces. Thankfully, the repair was easy since it has auto-repair, so all she has to do was to put them together like a puzzle game and let it doing its thing.
She tried to clean up these broken pieces as much as possible but the device was too wet from the fluids, she has to use her clothes to sweep up them. After a while, she was able to assemble them. However, the device is not turning up, probably because the damage is too severe that will require more time. She groaned then shake her head “seriously HEL, that is what happen when you tease me way too much…”
She reluctantly tore a piece of her work suit so it could protect her device from any liquid or dusts, she put them in the smelly sack. She got up with a loud cracking from her legs, realizing that she was not only the one that is broken, thankfully, like the sentient AI, her legs have auto-repair thank to the nanobots however, part of her organic left leg is damaged but not as severe as the device was.
She looked around, she found a wall to lean on, she noticed something weird about that wall, she realized that it was too smooth to be natural. “What in the stars is going on here?” it took her a moment to understand that she was in an ancient room! But she has no idea if it was an house or something else, one thing she is sure, she is currently in the corridor. She continued to walk though, much slower than before due to her broken right leg and still in auto-repair.
When she arrived in a new room, she can’t see a single thing because it was too dark to see. She muttered something “blah, if only HEL wasn’t broken… wait, I’m still wearing a smart helmet! Maybe it have the light feature?” immediately, she tapped her mask trying to find the button to light up the room, suddenly, the room is illuminated by her visor.
“Oh Baktag!” the room was bigger and taller than she expected, the first thing she noticed was the size of that desk, it was taller than human desk, larger than a laboratory table, there were lot of devices, completely foreign to her knowledge about science. The second thing she noticed was there were a large table that looked like a medical device, similar to the one created by the saviors but looked much more primitive. She thought: “wait a minute, how come there are the Savior’s technology here?” she continued to look around, a faint dot light got her attention.
“Huh?” she approached it, noticing it was a small pad embedded on the wall, there is also a large door next to it. “How strange… why there is that door?” she tried to read what was wrote on the door but couldn’t understood what it said because it was in savior’s language. “Augh, that remind me why I need HEL for this…” she looked back on the small pad, it’s bigger than her hand it was made for savior’s anatomy, she tried to touch it.
The door started to slide but stopped after ten centimeters of opening then, the little pad turned off all of sudden. She groaned “alright…it run out of the juice… well, that is enough space for me to push it open”
After an effort, she was able to enter in a new room, this time, it was smaller than previously, there were lot of slots, most of them are empties, probably a storage room. She looked around, she noticed one small box in the back of the room. She approached it, the box looked more like an old projector similar to a large device in her home. “Huh? An holo-projector? This small? How? Wait… What if it was an old computer the saviors used some thousands years ago?” she tried to turn it on but nothing happen… “oh well, guess it’s a dud” then, her helmet started emitting a warning message “warning, low battery, 10% of battery remaining.” She groaned she decided to turn back to where she came from, she took the small device with her.
On the way back, she saw some lights moving toward herself, she recognized some co-workers who were looking for me. “Ah! By the stars! You can’t believe how glad I’m to see you!” she smiled to them.
After the rescue was done, she got the permission to take a leave due to her injuries, but she doesn’t know that what she brought back is going to change her life in a big way…
