“The world will end in three years.” Enki Mystral, a slightly below-average student, thinks he finally can achieve his dream of being an adventurer when he gets to the city-state of Astral Metropolis, the world’s largest and most advanced republic ever since the arrival of [Dungeon], portals that mysteriously appeared almost five hundred years ago with foreign materials and resources that have rocketed technology centuries forward, creating the nation in the sky known as the Astral Metro. Gone are the days of being called ‘shrimp’ and weak, now that he’s been invited into the exclusive, invite-only center of the city. Once getting into the Institute of Luminaries, the most famed school in the Astral Metropolis, Enki realizes he was invited to join the Rank F class, the punching bag of all adventuring students. Students who only got in to be stress relief for other students, and were considered hopeless.
