Seluna is a woman that is becoming more monster than human. After undertaking a strange pact with unknown powers at the behest of the Institute of the Irreal, she clings desperately to the last vestiges of normal life. She has become a Beast; something seen as a twisted facsimile of humanity with eldritch powers. Seluna can see the memories of others and predict their futures through consumption of their blood, and she changes more by the day. For reasons now unknown to her, she gave up her past life and became a compliance officer for the Institute's Civic Outreach Department. Now, her and her human handler Mick enforce the Institute's version of justice in the city of Last. However, as unrest within the city grows Seluna must grapple with a question that grows within her: can she live a normal life, or will she truly become a Beast?
