Synopsis
The "other" world is real. And Martin sees it every day.
The children's stories of gremlins and pixies were not fairy tails but history books and look into what might be out there. His parents once realizing their son sees things not there warned him of it, with stories of the Babaduk and Baba Yaga getting quite more merit to them. And so Martin lived, scared yet intrigued by the life around him that no other seemed to see, humans and spirits dancing in a walz that none seemed the wiser to. So Martin observed, talked, and made friends, with fellow humans and spirits.
And now, he has his chance, a new university in a new country, a new journal to fill with notes, a new life to live.
The "other" has things both, dark and good, calm and chaotic, gold and marble.
This story will explore the mind of a person, the relationships of the world with us, and the landscape I have in my head, taking colors and brushes from pieces of my life and stories that have touched me. I write this to explore it, so if you wish to come and follow it with me.
You can expect a slice of life with multiple characters, a realistic world, and one where the characters care.
This story will contain themes of Trauma, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-harm, and other dark themes, but so will there be the promise of better days ahead.
