When a job escorting some rich types into the mountains goes a bit strange, Wirrin finds herself accidentally awakening one of the Fiends. Five hundred years ago, the Church of the Gods conquered the whole of Nesalan with the express purpose of banishing the six Fiends. Now Wirrin finds herself in direct conflict with the Church, on a quest to find all of the Fiends and break the Church's stranglehold on the people of her homeland.
