Long after the darkness last stepped foot on the mortal plane, magic blossomed. Forced to rely on themselves, the secret organization that still remembers the past rages in a constant battle against the evil that corrupts and mutates. Caught in the middle, Lyra must face hardships as she navigates her emotions and makes a decision that will have lasting consequences. Following a similar path, a Ranger lets his emotions control him, leading to darkness. An elf trained to hunt that darkness must come to terms with the task assigned to them for the cause. All three intertwine, weaving a story that is neither new nor old, but simply a continuation of survival.  I have added the content warning tags for violence and sensitive content as I post Chapter 15.
