The world is changing. Fantasy has become reality as shifters, Elves, Dwarves, and Witches become known to the general population. Meadow is a girl, born to a father who despises shifters and all they represent. Her father is abusive and treats her as a slave to his every whim. She trains as a Witch, learning to hate shifters as much as her father and joining the Hunter's Guild that is dedicated to eradicating this plague.  Simon is a boy born to a family of Witches. It was expected that he would take after his father, an Elf of high rank, and become a warrior, but he is born human. He is forced to find his place in a world that does not take male Witches seriously. Piper is a girl who has no family. She is a slave to an army officer who discovers a call to aid in the unrest of the world. She is trained by NIke, the Goddess of War, to become a War Witch and help the world come to balance.  Separately these three can only make the smallest of changes, but together, they become what the world needs. Meadow, Simon, and Piper each bring something different to help our world make the transition from plain to extraordinary.
