Being chased by the villagers, Maxwell, 13, and his mother run for their lives. They run to the nearest forest thinking that it would help them escape. They almost got caught when monsters from nowhere suddenly attacked the villagers. Afraid of being noticed by the unknown monsters, he then turned to her mother only to see a whirlwind behind her. Maxwell tried to save his mother but little did he know that there was also one behind him. The next thing he knew was he’s in a small village where magic is everywhere.
