They were obviously too large for him. He bunched up his sleeves to keep them out of his way. Only his boots were a proper fit for him. His dark hair fell in the way of his pale gray irises. His glare looked life in the eyes, unblinking. At his side was a thin knife, a crude and common weapon left behind by his father. He grew up in the suburbs of his dying town, a rough cold neighborhood of which he did not belong. He could hold his own in a fight despite his size and thieving was necessary to survive.    Kent’s mother had died of an illness and his father had been a guard for the city gate before he was killed by an intruder three years ago. His father had been of the Wolfman race, as exemplified by Kent’s two dark ears and his strong sense of smell.
