It all began 50 years ago when the semi-transparent blue screen started showing up in front of everyone, and class and skill was distributed across the world. Two days after that phenomena, the skies looked as if they were on fire. All satellite communications were interrupted, as fear gripped the cities of the world. When the skies returned to normal, it became clear that a force of incredible magnitude, officially known as Variant had arrived on Earth. Its mission: to eliminate all life on the planet. 25 years after the arrival of system and Variant. Amongst the everlasting war for the future of humankind, one young man was living his life pretty safely, cleaning the basement of neighbour, his mind on the small problems of his easy life. But then the world suddenly shifted and Portals were created. Because of the young man location during this phenomena, he got sucked into the portal and appeared in a dangerous place far above his level. With no combat skill or fighting knowledge, the young man struggled simply to survive inside the Portal. But struggle he would, for this was how the young man heroic story began... Years passed by, and the young man closed fifty-five Portals, won the Contest of Champion, reunited the countries, and Protected Earth from the darkest and most dangerous Variant who ever appeared, the Chromatic Dragon in the ground for good? And after all those challenges, he finally met the love of his life, and had children. So, the question is: what's it like to be the son of the most powerful heroes of all time? Well, I think I, Kofi Latte, know the answer. As I start my own journey, I discover just how much of a challenge it really is to live up to the legend of the strongest man on Earth. But before that, I have to learn the difference between being a hero and being the son of a hero.
