This is a WIP of Book 2 of The Adventures of Deep Contact series. (See Book 1 - The Massive Planet,  now available in all book stores) The mission continues for the Captain and crew of first interstellar spaceship, Deep Contact. After the events of The Massive Planet, Captain Christopher Riley, surveys the damage and reflects on the two year journey that brought them here. We take a step back to before the mission begins, getting a glimpse of the backstory from some of the crew, and then of the launch of the ship as it begins it's two year journey out.
