They say it started in some far-off hamlet, owned by some little-known noble family. They say the madness was held back for a time, and kept in check by the family and it's mercenaries. They say those brave men and women held it off for as long as possible. None know whether to believe those parts of the tale anymore, but all know of what has come to the world: Madness. A strange malignant element has corrupted and converted the world in a hellish abomination of what it used to be, and those that remain find themselves surrounded by death and insanity without end. Many fall to it, many embrace it, and so many more flee from it. A lone Lucario finds himself facing down this coming end, and though he cannot save many... he can save a few alongside himself. And that is exactly what he shall do, no matter the cost...
