Participant in the Royal Road Writathon November 2024Sheltered from the outside world, Jorin Greystone has lived in the humble region of Greenreach for his entire life. Born as a commoner of moss farming origin, his life has been one of pleasant, but unending tedium. At the end of the week, his needs are usually met, his family is alive and well, and friendships are few but strong. Jorin has always enjoyed exploring his hometown, every untouched nook and cranny now seen to feed Jorin's ever enticing hobby. When Jorin finally gains his Innate Trait, he realizes that exploring is his true strength, and that might just take him above and beyond Greenreach.Can he bear the Weight Of Wandering?This is quite literally my first ever piece of literature. The last time I wrote anything story wise was in High School for a project, most likely, and that was quite some time ago. I hope you enjoy my hopefully not displeasing placement of words on a screen.  I just really enjoy a lot of media on Royal Road, and figured it would be fun to try it out.
