Kal is growing up in a world where magic is in the air, suffering from a rare and fatal condition called Excess Magic Absorption. He takes his entrance examination to the prestigious Royal Academy, to try and learn to control the magic energy inside him, to increase his chance of success, as he suffers the pity of those around him. Despite his physical fragility as well as the looming risk of his condition, Kal is determined to prove his worth to join the prestigious academy. Will he be able to join the academy?
