A short fantasy fiction tale of a group of young barbarian men. They seek out a beast that has attacked their people around the mountain of Toth, Gorthum, the one who recruited them, leads the brave warriors as he hunts for the creature that ended his own people long ago. Kergen, one of the young barbarians on the hunt, wonders if Gorthum is in his right mind and that the beast is not real at all. He, as well as the others, will so learn of what creature truly lies in wait on the snowy mountain of Toth!
