Yin Zheng and Li Yue looked at each other. The only movement came from Zheng’s Shuddering Shield Aura, which continued to pulse outward from his chest.
Li Yue laughed. “I am quite certain you see how hopeless your situation is.” She said. “You can’t get to me without taking considerable risks, risks that I will punish you for taking.”
“Hmpf,” Zheng was undeterred. “I can still beat you.” He took a ready stance, his Shuddering Shield Aura intensifying.
Zheng charged forward.
Li Yue flicked two exploding coins while planting four on the ground in front of him. Zheng dodged the coins, and they exploded in the air.
Zheng stopped and ran diagonally before turning to run directly at Li Yue, his path making an invisible circle.
Li Yue tossed two coins behind her as she ran away. The coins landed on the ground and vanished. Zheng leapt up, over the place where the coins landed and continued to pursue Li Yue.
“Smart,” Zen smiled.
“What’s going on?” Jun Nee said.
“Yin Zheng is taking notes on where Li Yue is planting the exploding mines,” Zen said. “So he is avoiding them by jumping over them or going around them.”
Li Yue tried to maintain the distance between them and laid down two coins behind her. When Zheng stopped, Li Yue flicked two coins at him.
Zheng rolled on the ground to dodge it and Li Yue planted two more mines around her.
Zheng gritted his teeth as he rolled to his feet.
Li Yue smirked and tossed a few more landmines. “Give up, Dirt boy!” She spat. “The longer this match goes the more landmines I plant! And I have more ki than you, so I plant these exploding coins all night if I have to!”

Zheng kept quiet.
“Do you really think you can beat me? Someone like you thinking that is laughable!” she said. “I am stronger than you!”
“I told you, I would show you that strength isn’t just the amount of ki you have.” Zheng said.
“What utter rubbi…” Li Yue was interrupted when Zheng once again came for her.
She flicked three coins at him, to try and deter him. Zheng was able to barely dodge the coins but his protective aura was able to protect him from the force of the explosions.
Li Yue kept weaving around the field, keeping Zheng on edge by flicking Exploding Coins at him while planting mines. Zheng’s sharp eyes kept track of where the coins sank into the ground so that he knew where he should avoid stepping.
“Wang Zen, shouldn’t he be ending this match now?” Jun Nee said. “Even I can’t keep track of where the mines are now.”
Zen shrugged. “Time is against him. So he must end this as soon as possible.”
Zheng got close to Li Yue. He tried to sweep him but she flipped over his foot to safety and tossed six coins in front of herself while landing.
She laughed maniacally. “You’ve lost.” She said. “While you were chasing me around I have been planting Exploding Coins everywhere. There are only a few places you can step now without getting blown up. Give up, Dirt Boy and save yourself the trouble.”
“I’ve just been playing with you to see what you are capable of.” Zheng said. “I’m not impressed.”
“You’re bluffing!” she said.
“Fine, then I’ll end this now.” Zheng said.
He took a deep breathe. His Shuddering Shield Aura weakened massively.
“I thought you said you were ending the fight, not giving up.” She said in mirth.
Zheng bent his knees and jumped up.
“Ha! Got you!” she shouted in victory before tossing Exploding Coins at him.
With no choice, Zheng landed down on the ground where the Exploding Coins had been eplanted.
Zheng landed…
There was no explosion!
Zen dashed forward, under the coins that were exploding overhead.
Li Yue looked on in shock.
“Stone Fist!” Zheng shouted as he gathered ki in his fist, making it as hard as stone. His fist connected with Li Yue, knocking her off her feet and sending her flying out and past the edge of the ring into the water surrounding it.
Everyone was still, before Zheng leaned forward. “Are you knocked out?” he asked Li Yue, who had not moved from where she fell on the ground.
There was no answer from Li Yue, whose body was still.
“I guess I win then.” Zheng said.
