CHAPTER 181: WANG ZEN AND LU DAOMENG VS LOU SHAN
“You are very overconfident, Lou Shan.” Lu Daomeng said.
He, Wang Zen and Shibi, who was on Zen’s shoulder stared at Lou Shan.
“May I remind you the only reason I surrensered to you was because you had me outnumbered.” Lu Daomeng continued. “Now you are the one who is outnumbered.
“What?” Lou Shan said. “You consider The Boy as sufficient back up to outnumber me? Surely you jest. And you, Boy, you do realise your life is over, now that you have helped this criminal. No more academy and no more freedom in jail!”
“Don’t bother even answering her.” Lu Daomeng said.
Zen removed his mask. “Guess there’s no point in this anymore.”
“Master Wang, do you have my storage stone?” Lu Daomeng said.
Zen nodded and touched his storage stone ad out came Lu Daomeng’s storage stone. Lu Daomeng touched the stone and drew out a card.
“Hue Yi’s Bingo Card?” Zen said.
“Yes, he thought Lou Shan was a threat, maninly to me.” He said as he handed overt the card to Wang Zen. Lu Daomeng touched it again and his long sword appeared in his hands. “Wang Zen, be careful. I’ll take lead in this battle.”
Zen nodded.
Lu Daomeng charged.
She raised her hand as air gathered around her. “You swordsmen are always so overconfident.” Her hand swiped down and massive air pressure came down.
Zen and Shibi were flattened by the air. Lu Daomeng slowed down and was brought to his knees. Lou Shan extended her middle and pointing finger as air gathered at the tip of her fingers, the intensity making them look blue.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
She rushed for Lu Daomeng.
“Focused Air Slash!”
Lu Daomeng summoned water from the ground and covered him in a sphere before it allowed him to dodge the slash of air that cut deep in the grass he was on before.
Lu Daomeng thrust his fist out. “Water Blast!”
A stream of water shot at her.
“Air Sphere!” Lou Shan gathered a sphere of air before her, blocking the blast, though she was being pushed back until the attacks cancelled each other out. She smirked at Lu Daomeng before dashing after Zen. “Let me take out the weakest among you!”
“No!” Lu Daomeng rose to his feet and chased after her.
Zen gritted his teeth. He felt the air pressure already weakening around him, allowing him to get to his knees. He looked out and saw Lou Shan running at him, the end of her finger glowing in blue air.
“Oh no, Shibi.”
Shibi gathered fire and threw a stream of it at Lou Shan.
“Focused Air Spear!” Lou Shan shouted as she met the stream with her thrusted finger that lanced out with air.
The fire was effortlessly dispersed but it allowed Zen some time to roll out of the way of the attack.
“Zen get away!” Lu Daomeng said as the increased air pressure fully died.
“He won’t!” Lou Shan said, whirling her hands around. Zen was caught in a vortex of air that lifted him off his feet.
“Get away, Shibi!” Zen said, grabbing Shibi and tossing him out of the vortex.
While in the air, Lou Shan kicked Zen, sending him at Lu Daomeng. Zen was spinning blindingly fast, the elemental air making him a projectile heading for Lu Daomeng. Lu Daomeng summoned more water and caught Zen in its liquid embrace. However, even under water Zen’s momentum was still too much. He slammed against Lu Daomeng, popping the water blob they were in and sending them hurtling across the ground.
Lou Shan gathered more air at the ends of her fingers before charging at the two, who were still on the ground. When she was close enough to strike, water covered both of them and flowed out of the way of the attack, ensuring that her attack once again cut nothing but grass.
The water splashed and released both of them.
“I hate how slippery you Water Elementalists are.” She said as she raised her hand.
“Sorry Shifu,”Zen said as he got to his feet. “That was my fault.”
“Forget it,” Lu Daomeng. “She’s preparing to increase the air pressure again.”
“What do we do?” Zen said, looking around at Shibi who was at a safe distance. “Do we run away.”
“That is an option.” He said. “But then she would be out of range for my attacks. So instead of running, we should fight.”
“How?”
Lu Daomeng smirked. “Hold your breathe.”
Zen did as was instructed. Water rose from around them and engulfed them in a sphere. Then they both dashed forward.
“Overcondifent!” Lou Shan clicked her tongue before swiping her hand down!
