CHAPTER 176: BLADE DANCE
Hue Yi knew had to be on his guard when Zen dashed for him! Shib leap off his shoulder mid dash and moved adjacent to him. He wondered if the boy was planning on some kind of pincer movement. Zen shouted as he charged, but Hue Yi kept his eye on the orange blur that was Shibi, knowing that Zen was only a distraction for what Shibi was going to do.
Shibi threw something at him… no, towards his direction. It had a tail of yellow energy but more importantly it would miss! He turned his eyes back at Zen to see him throw his sword at his face like a spear. He breath caught when he realised that Shibi was the true distraction for Zen’s attack! He leaned to the side, barely dodging the blade of the sword. It was a primitive way to use a sword but it almost had him.
To his surprise, Zen’s Battle Mannequin appeared behind him and grabbed the sword. Shibi had thrown the storage stone that had it! Hue Yi had to trun around and defend against the mannequin while it used a reverse grip that Zen had used earlier. It switched from reverse to front grip as easily as Zen had and began fighting him in earnest.
“So this is where he learned it.” Hue Yi said to himself as he tried to defend from the onslaught.
Zen was also rushing inf rom behind him. “Blits Punch!”
Hue detacthed from the mannequin and leapt to the side to dodge the 80 punchs thrwn in a single second. That di not stop the flow of the attack as instead of Zen and the mannequin colliding like he had hoped, Zen ducked low and the mannequin used his back as aspring board to leap after Hue Yi.
Hue Yi raised his swords to block the mannequins strike, one, stabbed into its chest while the other held its sword at bay. He saw Shibi leap off Zen’s body and at him to his exposed abdomen. Hue Yi let go of his sword and using his pal, pushed the mannequin don into Shibi’s path.
“No!” Zen shuted as he ran after Shibi who climbed on the mannequin. Zen stopped its momentum with both hands and Shibi leapt from between the boy and the mannequin ito the air where he shot a stream of fire at Hue Yi.
“Makash Slash!” Hue Yi dispersed the fire attack again but once it was gone, he had to deal with the Zen coming after him. He faced him ready to receive onlyto be surprised when the boy ducked low, allowing the mannequin to go over him and attack.
The switch disorientated him but he was experienced enough to deal with it. Zen came around him and sweeped low with his leg. Hue Yi almost avoided the low sweep, his leg only getting caugh a little but it was enough as he had lost his balance and was aso trying to efend against the mannequin.

I his desperation, Hue Yi was disarmed, sending his sword flying away. He leaned back, ducking low from a swing that may have separated his head from his shoulders and using his hand, he flipped over and over, summersaulting away from the trio
Shibi was already chasing after with a stream of fire but Hue Yi was already retaliating with his own ki slash which parted the stream away from Hue Yi while heading for Shibi and the mannequin who were forced to dodge.
“Shibi, the sword!” Zen said, pointing at Hue Yi’s sword which was lying on the ground.
Bothe Hue Yi and Shii ran for it, with the Scorch Ape gaining the lead. When Shibi was about to reach for it…
“Ki Slash!”
He had to leap back to dodge the attack, lest he lost his hand. Hue Yi grabbed the sword and began attacking Shibi, who was barely dodging. Zen and the mannequin quickly came in to cover Shibi. Hue Yi was in a ferocious battle on all sides, genuinely struggling to survive.
Zen was shocked when Hue Yi suddenly released a ki slash at point blank at the mannequin, this one was faster and stronger than any he had used against him. His Battle Mannequin, Man Doll, was sent hurtling away as the slash cut his body in half.
The last act of the mannequin was to toss the Zen Blade at Zen.
Shibi leapt into te air, gathering all the fire he could muster before sending a massive stream of it at Hue Yi. Hue Yi faced te blaze.
“Makashi Slash!” He dispered the fire but this one was much stronger, someof it catching him by the arm.
Zen used the moment to get closer to Hue Yi at the opening he had presented when he had dispatched Man Doll and had to immediately deal with Shibi;s last attack. He turned his blade to a forward grip, wanting to use ever inch, every centrimeter to his advantage. He had seen how fast Hue Yi had moved and his ki techniques, he knew he had no way to dodge this.
“Blade Dance!” Hue Yi shouted.
Hue Yi’s body began to spin in an instance, creating a vortex of ki. Zen’s sword stabbed into the ki and was immediately pulled away from his grasp while he was also thrown away, the ki he had put into his attack being swallowed into the ki technique. The spin also putout Shibi’s fire and sent out an arc of ki energy at the monkey, who could not doge the fast moving attack in mid air. The ki arc collided with Shibi, resulting in an explosion as the Scorch Ape fell to the ground, unconscious.
Zen pushed himself from the ground and looked at Hue Yi in amazement. Man Doll, his Battle Mannequin was sliced in half. Shibi was lying unconscious. And he not only disarmed but was once again alone.
He had lost.
“Wow, Kid.” Hue said, his voice a mixture of excitement and fear. “You actually made me use my strongest ki technique!”
“If that is your strongest ki technique-“
Hue Yi and Wang Zen looked at the newcomers with surprise. Xu Hua had appeared running in, side by side with her boyfriend, Hao Meng.
“-then you won’t stand a chance against us.” Hao Meng completed as they faced off against Hue Yi.
