CHAPTER 159: EARTH HAND CRUSH!

Wang Zen watched as Wang Ton continued forward to Min. It was difficult for him to hide and just watch him struggle and he could not bring himself to run and abandon him.

Wang Ton continued forward. At the last moment, he began to zig zag.

Two electrical pikes were thrown at him. Ton dashed to the side and dodegd one pike but the next found its target and exploded against his shield. The wooden shield was obliterated, so was the rest of Ton’s shirt, revealing his bruised and now burnt torso.

He was baldy hurt but with the mace in his mouth he kept going forward. Manipulating the mace, he pointed the mouth of the mace at Min. the water streamed out and Min dodged, the stream touched her again and it ripped through the side of his leg.

He manipulated the mace again so its bulbous head to its side. Both arms were now useless but he was closer to Min who leapt back to avoid him but he knew she could not escape him.

Then the earth began to quake. It took all of Ton to not fall over, even Zen from his spot could feel the earth shaking, which made Shibi panic. Zen hugged Shibi, to comfort the Scorch Ape.

Towers began to rise from the earth. They were massive and curved. Ton looked around as five towers bigger and thicker than anything he had ever seen kept rising.

From Zen’s vantage point the giant towers looked like… human fingers!

Ton was caught in the middle. The ground beneath him softentning and making it difficult for him to walk. He tried to run, out of the formation of towers but the sandy ground, keept him falling back to the centre of the formation. He was sinking waste deep in the sand as the ground beneath him also rose. He was in the middle of a platform connected to the five towers which began curving inward, threatening to crush him in the middle.

His arms were limp at his side and his feet was sinking in the sand. With no arms, he did the only thing he could, he touched his storage stone with his chin and the mace in his mouth vanished inside of it. He touched it again and a wooden mannequin appeared in front of him. It grabbed his arm and threw him out of the sand into the air. Another mannequin appeared and pushed him further forward, then another appeard, giving him temporary purchashe for his foot. More mannequins appeared beneath him, forming stepways for him to escape his hand.

He was desperately trying to get past the formation but he started losing hope. The towers were closing in faster than he could move, each of the five blotting out the moon and stars above, then he saw nothing as the towers completely enclosed around him.

“No,” Zen whispered in horror, his eyes growing wet with tears. He looked at the giant hand that had grown around his father, rose up in the air and crush him in its fist.

There was silence. The earth stopped trebling and all Zen could do was cry at the loss of Wang Ton while Shou Na Shi’s laughter echoed through the night.

Stolen novel; please report.

The fist began to move. It trembled as if it was struggling. Shi’s laughter was caught in his throat as he looked out in confusion as the trembling hand began shaking more and more. The rock fingers began to widen bit by bit until the hand burst open!

“No!” Shi shouted as hundreds of mannequins came flying out of the hand.

Min ran rang away, trying to dodge the damaged mannequins raining down on her. She looked up and saw Wang Ton flying to her, with a black bladed sword in his mouth. She leapt back but the blade of his sword grazed her arm.

She stumbled back and raised her arms. “Citrus Field!”

Electricity spread from her, electrocuting Ton. He grunted but stayed on his feet even though the electricity around him was trying to numb his body.

“This technique spreads a field of electricity.” Min said. “It will slowly paralyze you and the pain is…” in screamed as Ton rushed forward and slashed her across her chest.

She dodged another one of his slashes but was kicked in the chest, sending her sprawling on her butt. The Citrus Field waned for a moment but then came back. She gathered electricity between her pals and thrust her palms out.

Ton easily out distanced the short range move. He knew lightning attacks were mostly useless unless properly shaped, otherwise, they were fast oving but very short range attacks. But the citrus field absorbed some of the electricity and intensified for a moment, oncreasing the shock.

Ton understood why she did not botehr shaping the Lighnting. Whatever he could outdistance was absorbed by the field which made it stronger but only for a moment. It did not scare him, he could still fight her.

Ton rushed forward but then the earth benath him softened. Shi appeared at his side, his body had a layer of earth proecting him from the Citrus Field. He manipulated the earth to rise around Ton. It was a move Ton could easily dodged but his legs fell asleep from the electiric at that moment and he was caught, the earth twisting around his body and only leaving his head exposed.

Min stopped the field and kicked the out of Ton’s mouth. Shi collapsed to his knees and the earth layer around his body fell away.

“Damn, I’m almost out of elemental energy.” Shi said.

“I can’t believe he a weakling like him pushed us this far.” Min said. “I’d be impressed if I wasn’t so angry.”

They suddenly felt a great power behind them. Min and Shi turned around to face the powerful newcomer and saw… Zen.

“Its Wang Zen.” Min said. “He seems stronger than before.”

“No,” Shi said. “He is using his father’s technique that makes him appear stringer than he actually is. That technique is usless to me, Boy! I have a deep scan technique that bypass your illusion and tell me your exact power level. Your still in Intermediary Rank.”

“Even then, the Expert Rank your projecting still would not be strong enough to take us on in our current condition.” She said.

“Zen, what are you doing?” Ton said. “I told you to run!”

“I couldn’t!” Zen said. “You said you couldn’t lose another child, well I can’t abandon my father! Not when I know I can help him!”

“How cute.” Min said.

“Well, at least we can toture him.” Shi said. “Maybe seeing his son in excuitating pain will make his lips a little looser.”

“Wait,” Min said. “Where is your Scorch Ape?”

Shibi and Dollman had snuck up behind them and attacked the earth structure that held Wang Ton, freeing him.

“No!” Min shouted. “Deal with the kid!”

Shi rushed forward for Zen. “I hoped she would have come for me.” Zen said before crouching down low. Shi stopped when he saw the spear mannequin, holding up its flaming spear that it through at Shi.

Shi raised an earth wall but his depleted elemental energy failed him as the flaming spear smashed through the wall and found a place in the middle of his body before he collapsed on the ground dead.

“Citrus Cloak!” Min summoned a cloak of electricity that covered her body.

Ton summoned a mace into his mouth. Spikes grew out of its head. Ton leapt up and smashed the mace into Min’s head, which caused an explosion that sent both of them flying back.

Min’s skull was a bloody mess, making her unrecognisable. Ton sustained more injuries but Zen was relieved to see him still breathing.

Zen collapsed onto his butt. “I can’t believed we survived that.”
