CHAPTER 158: WANG TON VS. LEI CONG MIN AND SHOU NA SHI
Wang Zen heard Lei Cong Min call her attack. Then he heard a crackling of lightning as an earth dome formed around them. He then heard a deafening boom then nothing…
Zen was awaken by Wang Ton calling his name while shaking him. He saw his mouth move but the rininging in his ears blocked out any sound. The ringing weakened and he could make out some words.
“How long was I out?” Zen said.
“Not long.”
Zen was sure he looked as awful as his father. His father’s face was bruised, his clothes had holes in them. Zen was sure he looked the same.
“Wang Ton,” Min’s voice rang through as the sparks of electricity began appearing around her body again, “Surrender. You stand no chance. Do not think we will hesitate to kill you, your death offer a significant blow to the Rebellion.”
“We can’t let her charge up that attack again!” Zen said.
“You need to go,” Ton said, making a move forward. “I’ll stop her.”
A boulder shot at him.
“Shield!” The Battle mannequin stepped between Ton and the boulder and formed a shield, a wall grew before the mannequin and the boulder made contact, smashing theboulder apart and knocking it and Ton off their feet.
“You have to let me help,’ Zen said crouching next to him. “You can’t handle them both. Let me handle the weaker one, the Earth Elementalist.”
“No! I already have a plan for him.” Ton gently pushed Zen away. “Shield, get him.”
The mannequin dashed forward for Shi.
Ton touched the storage stone and his mace reappeared. “Zen, my son, this battle is above you. I need you to survive because… because I will not survive losing another child. You want to help? Then run. Stay safe.”
Ton dashed forward for Min.
Shi saw Shield run for him. He clicked his tongue. “Earth Hand Technique: 5 Fingers!”
Earth pillars burst from the ground, their ends bent and tried to crush the mannequin but it dodged, leaping from side to side. To pillars where heading for it and Shi knew the mannequin could not dodge.
“Gotcha!” he smirked.
From the corner fo his eye he saw another mannequin, this one held the scythe. He abandonend his technique to focus on the newly arrived mannequin which was swinging its scythe for his neck.

“Earth Pike!” Shi said as a pike of rock burst for the eart, blocking the scythe. The scythe mannequin opened its mouth, revealing a pipe. Black smoke shot out at Shi blinding him.
He kept leaping back, trying to get out of the smoke cloud he was in while throwing up earth pikes to cover his retreat, in case the scythe mannequin was chasing after him. He came out of the smoke and saw the sword mannequin waiting for him outside the smoke. Its blade shone with energy and it slashed at him.
Shi thrust his hand out and a small wall erupted from the ground to block the strike. A c-shaped collection of air burts through the wall and sliced Shi’s hand clean off.
Shi screamed in anguish, holding his bloody stump as he backed up. The scythe wielding mannequin came from the coud smoke. The shield mannequin was on his other side, with three mannequins surrounding him.
The mannequins all attacked him at once.
“One Finger!” Shi shouted as a pillar rose beneath his feet, knoacking the mannequins away and elevating him off the ground.
Shi tried to catch his breath as he looked out. He saw Wang Ton, though he had taken a lot of damage, he was rushing ever closer to a shocked Min. He gritted his teeth.
“Wang Ton, I’ll destroy you!” He trust his remaining hand up in the air. “Ultimate Earth Hand Technique: Earth Hand Crush!”
Ton kept running for Min. He aimed his mace at her and shot two beads at the ground next to her. Vines grew out, making to entangle her.
“Are you kidding?” she said, focussing her lightning. She made sparks with her lightning and they ignited the vines in fire, where they whithered and died. “Fool, lighnting is fire’s sister!”
She began her attack again, with sparks appearing over her body and flowing into the sky. Her technique was stopped when a metal whipe wrapped around her neck. She was shocked by electricity and she fell to a knee.
She laughed as she looked back at the whip mannequin that had snuck up on her. “You call this lightning? This is lightning!” She sent a stream of electricity down the whip that struck the mannequin, sending it flying away.
She freed herself from the whip. When she looked at Ton, he was now much closer. He aimed his mace again. A concentrated stream of water shot out. She leaned to the side to dodge but the stream of water made contact with her shoulder obliterating her clothes and cutting into her shoulder.
She grunted in pain, grabbing her wounded shoulder as blood squirted through her fingers. “Bastard!”
She raised her arm and lightning began to draw above her palm, forming a weapon.
“Fine, let’s play!”
The lightning gathered forming a pike of white energy.
Ton mounted his black storage stone on the lapel of his shirt. He touched it and a big sphereical wooden shield with a blue pearly center appeared over one arm. Hebegan to zig zag as randomly as he could while still gaining ground.
“Lightning Pike!” she through the pike at him and was able to get him even though he was zig zagging.
Ton had the shiled raised and met the pike. There was an explosion of electricity, the wooden shiled was obliterated and Ton was knocked back off his feet.
Ton got up. The sleeve and shoulder of his shirt on his left side was completely gone and sections of his skin was red with boils. His left hand hung uselessly at his side as he tried to regain his breath.
“You see?” Min said. “This si what your Rebellion friends will be facing if they go against the Empire and the nobles. The commoners don’t stand a chance!”
“If I am being completely honest, I don’t care about the Rebellion.” He said. “I don’t care if the commoners are able to bring down the structure of inequality and be equal to the noble families. But what I do care about iss my family. My son was murdered by your sect and then hid behind the Empire to escape justice. I will weaken your setc and I will get justice for my son! And that is all Iw ill say to you, scum.”
He raised the mace to his mouth and bit on the handle with his teeth. With his other hand he touched his storage stone and another wooden shield appeared on his remaining functioning arm. Then he dashed forward.
Min raised both arms and gathered electrical power, forming a pike above each hand. “Fine, if that’s the last thing than I don’t need you alive. Die, Wang Ton!”
