CHAPTER 156: THEY MEET
Wang Zen felt leathery hands patting him on the head. “Shibi,” Zen grumbled, “let me sleep.”
Shibi continued to pat him. “Wake up!”
Zen woke up hearing the panic in Shibi’s voice. “What’s wrong?”
“Someone stalking.”
“Stalking?” Zen tilted his head. “You mean sneaking around? Do you know who it is?”
“No. They are powerful.”
Zen’s eyes widened in worry.
Wang Ton kept shaping a hot piece of steel into a blade. He did not see a masked man, dressed in blac, sneak behind him, a fire burining in his palm.
“Look out!” Zen shouted.
Wang Ton turned around and saw the man. The man thrust his hand out and a plume of fire shot at Ton. Ton backflipped to avoid the fire and threw the hot piece of metal at his assailant. He dodged and ran to exit the workshop.
Wang Ton chased after the man and Zen followed behind.
They exited outside. The assailant shot fire back at the pursuing Ton, who dodged. The man stopped and faced him.
Ton stopped and raised his hand to stop Zen who was about to run past him.

“We can’t let him escape!” Zen said and Shibi growled in agreement.
“He is not alone.” Ton said.
Two more figures joined the other and the three were all wearing black and their faces were masked with the ninja like garb.
“Are they…”
“Yes, they are.” Wang Ton said. “What’s the point of hiding your faces, I know who you are. You Red Dragon scums!”
The biggest one of the three as about to rush forward in anger but was stopped.
“I guess there is no point in hiding,” one said, her voice sounding feminine. Lei Cong Min pulled the head mask off, untangling it into a black scarf that she let the wind take. “You already know us and you even have your son. Our reportstold us that he returned to Goixi Academy. Guess deception runs in the family.”
Mi Ba Huo and Shou Na Shi also took off their masks.
“Tell us all you know about the Rebel Allaince and we will give you a swift death.” Shi said. “And your son may live.”
Zen tried to keep his trembling under control. They were facing three powerful enemies. He could sense that Huo was a Rank 4 Paladin while Shi was a Rank 6 Duke and Min, the strongest of the three was a Rank 2 King.
“You people are criminals,” Ton said. “This is not an enquiry by the Empire, which is why you are trying to kill me like lowly assassins. Go back to where you came from before I report you.”
Min laughed. “I know you are pretending but it is still so amusing.” She said. “The Red Dragon Sect always serves the interest of the Empire. The Empire is the will and we are its action, so whether or not we have the correct paperwork, whatever we do is just and right.”
“What are we going to do?” Zen whispered to him. “How are we going to get out of here?”
“You are going to leave,” Ton said. “I’m going to hold them off and wait for an opportunity to escape myself.”
“But…”
“No argument.” Ton said.
“There is no point in scheming, Wang Ton.” Shi said, “You are outnumbered and if you resist, you will lose.”
“Your wrong on both counts,” Ton produced his black storage stone. “I am not outnumbered-“ Ton touched the stone and five battle mannequins appeared around him and Zen. Five mannequins made fully out of steel all holding different black weapons. One held a spear, another had two wide blades attached to its forearms, another had a scythe, one had a two handed sword and the last had a whip with interlinked iron chains. The faces of the mannequins were made to look like skulls “-and I’m not going to lose.”
