In early 20th century Norway, mysterious patient is found in Selby Hospital, and the esteemed local Dr Lande does his best to comfort the scarred man who brought him in. Meanwhile, Carl finishes his studies in London, and comes back to Selby to meet his shaken cousin, and research rumours of ancient burial sites deep in the mountain. As lethargy and fear take hold of the town, and the dark omens surrounding a dying priest lead Carl into intrigue, it is up to the townfolk to find the mystery behind the Wanderer from the Rocks.
