On December 31st each year, kids at the age of 16 are allowed to travel to the capital of Yarean and try to survive the Aegis. Only the rich and the few lucky lottery winners can go. John lives in the nearby city of Jagos with his family of 4. His dad is a construction worker and ever since John could see the awe inspiring structures built, he has wanted to become an architect. Right before Aegis Day, John learns that he was chosen to go to the capital. John travels to the capital to earn the [Architect] class and help take his family to new heights. While he expected a simple class, he got more than he bargained for. Sent to The Aegis Institute of Yarean was one of the few non-nobles, he must learn his new class and what exactly it entails.
