The story unfolds with Jane, a reclusive individual harboring substantial wealth, eagerly awaiting the launch of a new game alongside her friends. Amidst chatter, laughter, and planning, they anticipate embarking on a fresh adventure after years of testing the game in its alpha and beta phases. However, as the launch approaches, Jane succumbs to sleep, only to awaken inside her beloved in-game ship, the Zed. Follow Jane as she navigates this mysterious turn of events, grappling with the uncertainty of her friends' fates, seeking a way back home, and confronting her internal struggles. The tale intertwines her external quest with an introspective journey, exploring the convergence of virtual and real worlds.(This is my first attempt at writing. I was inspired by a game that some of you may know, and you'll recognize some names or references if you know what game it is. I may loosely use that game's mechanics and naming conventions but I'm not adhering to it 1:1. I normally ignored these whims of inspirations but it's the first time I thought of a full story from beginning to end instead of just a fancy start. So I'm giving this writing thing a go.
