Synopsis
In “Vine Trap,” set amidst the dying days of World War I, Dean is a soldier haunted by the horrors of war and the growing realization that he may be losing himself to something darker. Stationed in a decaying forest camp known as “The Vine Trap,” Dean and his platoon face threats both human and unnatural, as the forest’s sinister vines seem alive with malevolent intent.
As Dean wrestles with his humanity, two other figures loom on the horizon: Leon, who embraces his monstrous instincts with calculated precision, and David, a chaotic force who sees destruction as art. While they are monsters by choice, Dean clings to the belief that he is still human—even as his actions and the darkness around him suggest otherwise.
In a world where survival comes at the cost of one’s soul, Dean must confront not only the horrors of war but also the monsters lurking within himself and those he fights alongside. Will he hold onto his humanity, or will the Vine Trap claim him too?
