Paxton Summers was a fairly normal teenager, but a moonlit hunt for an albino coyote photo ultimately leads to another world. Now alone Pax encounters an ancient Persian god that seems to have entirely forgotten about Earth. Regardless, this deity requires Pax's help to reach apotheosis, because in this world deities must ascend to true godhood with a sentient avatar. This particular deity was a single step away from ascension when he was separated from his avatar. Now it is up to Pax to travel across several dangerous continents to reunite the two. While he travels across a new world where gods are real and most seem to want him dead, he must also contend with their many followers. Then there are also those Order of the Fallen guys, but the less said about them the better. Will Pax become a legend in his own right or die a nobody at the hands of overwhelming odds.
