Synopsis
In 1856 Nagasaki, where Japanese tradition clashed with British colonial power, two women from opposite worlds forged a bond that defied the tides. Minato Miura, the sharp-witted mistress of a trading ship, commanded both respect and suspicion in the bustling harbour. Sabrina Timberlake, an Englishwoman trapped under the thumb of her cruel brother, Lieutenant Robert Timberlake, found an unexpected solace in Miura’s presence.Their forbidden love blossomed amidst the mounting tensions of a changing world, but betrayal struck before their dreams could take root. Robert, driven by ambition and a fear of losing control, ordered their brutal execution, leaving their blood to stain the harbour. Yet death did not end Miura’s story. Her soul, transformed by rage and heartbreak, rose as the Yuki Onna—a vengeful spirit of frost and fury. The frozen harbour became her domain as she unleashed her wrath upon the British Royal Navy. Ships were frozen in place, storms shattered the skies, and vengeance bore down on Robert with unrelenting force. Their final confrontation turned the harbour into a battleground where the line between justice and monstrosity blurred beneath the snow.
