Synopsis
Long ago, the world was torn apart. A great rift carved through the land, birthing horrors that twisted everything they touched. The world became unlivable, its people forced to flee—to the skies. Now, humanity survives in vast empires of floating islands, stacked high above the ruins below, protected by an unyielding barrier.
On the lowest island, life is quiet. Ordinary. A cycle of survival untouched by the powers that shape the worlds above. No one speaks of Eidis. No one knows of it. To the lower islanders, Eidis does not exist. In their simple villages and tribes, they farm, they trade, they endure—never questioning what lies beyond their small world.
But one boy knows something he shouldn’t. One boy knows the truth. And when he shares it with his friends, their quiet world shatters.
The climb will be brutal, but it will be done. Together, they will ascend—leaving behind the life they’ve always known to chase something greater. But the higher the climb, the steeper the fall, and the sky is not as safe as it seems. Should they lose their hold, the corrupted remains of the forgotten land will be waiting—hungry for those who slip.
