Aryanna Bondevik is a vampire of considerable age who has built a business empire using the descendants of her human family as employees. Anna has several branches to her business, tech, security, and even a sandwich shop chain. Anna's true joy is hunting and taking out those who harm children but slip through the loopholes the law provides.  The world is just beginning to adjust to the supernatural community coming out of the closet. Anna's world is well balanced until a group known as "The Crusade for Humanity’s Purity" begins trying to kill her and harm her family. The Crusade wants all dark supernaturals destroyed, this includes Vampires, Dark Witches, and any other Supernatural that is considered a monster. The biggest problem is The Crusade sees all supernaturals falling into the undesirable category. While trying to keep her family safe, Anna gets word that a priest in Brazil is kidnapping and selling children as slaves. Can Anna find this man and his connections and keep her family safe from the threat of the Crusade? Or will the two situations become so intertwined that even Anna loses site of what the end goal is?
