Originally conceived as a humorous comic strip to amuse my coworkers via group chat, this narrative has been lovingly fine-tuned into a more refined short story.  Frog Detective and Bethenny emerged as characters on a simple drinking straw, while the role of Villain Poop Emoji was played by a candy shaped, aptly, like a poop emoji. The tale is peppered with "commercial breaks," symbolizing moments when I was interrupted by deliveries.  As for where this story is headed or when it will conclude, that remains delightfully uncertain.
